I recommend it 100% for those who have no idea about editing and want to create content without any experience. Thanks to iMovie, I got really fond of editing, and when it helped me a lot to create quick projects for class. I think it's a very easy to use program and I like that you don't need to learn how to use it beforehand. In both formats (iphone/ipad or imac), it is super useful, although it should be noted that on the computer you have more options for editing and use.

Personally I am not a fan of the default ones, I find them out of time. I think the design team could update them, and make them more modern, in this case I think I would make more use of them to facilitate the work and time. I would also like the way of editing to be more free and not so limited, but for what there is now, it is enough to create quick videos.

I would like to share my own experience here editing a video is become more easy to me day by day. I took no courses to learn this software which means it’s easy to access to anyone. The best part of the software is it made my work more professional Thank you once again.

I should be not simply writing in order to fill the box and not to keep empty. Im using iMovie since 7 years i feel there is nothing that lacks in it.

The most I like about iMovie is that it has user-friendly interface makes video editing accessible to everyone, even beginners. Additionally, its range of built-in templates and effects allows for the creation of professional-looking videos with ease.

The least I like about iMovie is that it can be limiting for advanced users due to its lack of more customization options.

I like the simplicity and ease of this software. It’s basic but high quality.

I can’t think of anything that I am u happy with.

Can do everything you need to edit a video in one app. very easy to see separate clips and audio. The videos download in great quality.

Sometimes its difficult to select a section to cut

It’s free. It’s simple to use and gets results in a short amount of time with minimal effort.

It lacks some of the customisation and functionality of its competitors. Often find yourself thinking “does it really not do *that*?”

IMovie is easy to use and very functional. Used a couple times.

For me imovie is the best for doing business video editing on I have made great progress with saving time and the ease of this app highly recommended

It could use some more features but it's a free app so you getting the best for free and out do 98 percent of video editing app that cost money

I like that it still came with the recent Mac I have access to, just in case I don't have access to other video editing software if I'm on a computer.

It doesn't appear to have undergone any updates in years. The latest design is not as user-friendly and sometimes freezes.

I like iMovie where you can watch and make movies of your own creativity and for passions and interests. I like making my own and like to watch what others make.

The ones is I wish there are more features just like Adobe video editing because more the merrier for good videos and nice standards for sure.

Free and good for everyone who want to begin with video editing, you can use templates for trailers or any kind of instruments for editing

I like how intuitive and how it is so easy to use and navigate unlike other video softwares. I also like how it uses icons to direct me to certain functions. It is is also preinstalled in my Mac so i dont have to pay subscriptions or buy another software.

Sometimes it can freeze and close, not saving my work especially if i work with heavy video clips or have too many programs open at the same time but truly thats the only thing. Otherwise it works perfectly.

The setup for iMovie is pretty easy and makes video editing fun. The platform is straight to the point and the fact that it is free makes it a great entry level video editing platform.

Due to the fact that the platform is free, it comes with limited functionality. As a company that does a lot of video promotion, this becomes an issue and we have to incorporate other video editing platforms.

Mostly every business out there has a social media handle and to grow on social media uploading videos becomes necessary. That's where iMovie comes into play. This app comes with a lot of premade templates that allow you to create videos in seconds. Even when you are creating or editing something from scratch that could be done easily thanks to its user interface. You can play around with transitions, cut and crop a video, stabalize vids and do much more. While softwares like Final Cut Pro require indepth knowledge - iMovie enables you to do all the basic stuff for free making it easier for you to get a video ready!

There are no cons but I'd love to see apple giving in support for more templates and transitions making the software even better for users!

I could make a short video with just the pictures I took on a trip. It has a variety of tools and functions that helped me put together different images with also special effects. And last but not least you can download your video and share it on your social.

It’s not very easy of use. It’s a bit complicated at the beginning and I spent a lot of time in learning how to manage the different tools.
Poor in the variety of music themes.

The thing I like most about iMovie is it delivers very nice videos with not having to have to much experience on how to edit. The ease of use and understanding how to create videos is definitely what I like the most.

Compared to other movie editor apps, it does not have as many features.

I'm a musician and with iMovie, I learned how to make videos over time! The program now seems very simple to me, as it was not from the beginning! It's very easy to add words, inside video, and there are many more options!

I had an accident once when the file was 3 minutes, but the file turned into 3 hours. Had to delete everything and start over, but that was only once.

A very fast video editing tool, functional for the purpose and suitable for everyone. I liked it for editing video when travelling so I didn't need large equipment. I used it on the go when I didn't have my computer with professional video editing software available.

It has no particular shortcomings. Being designed for a user who has no knowledge of the tools, I cannot report shortcomings in this sense.

Every step of this software is very simple and can be done very fast. Basic level work can be done perfectly.

The dissolves are very beautiful, the transitions are also good, if you use them in the right place, you can make some beautiful videos
