I like the extensive amount of features, all for a good price. It's amazing for inclusion.

There's nothing we don't like about it! The only thing we can suggest is affordability, as we are a non-profit charity.

The extortion that is USERWAY

Pros

Nothing. This company is complicit with lawyers( ambulance chasers) who hunt innocent businesses threatening them with lawsuits until they sign up for this bogus program.

Pros

I used to think that all these widgets were the same, but after trying two of their competitors and being unhappy with their usability and the company's support, I gave UserWay a try.

Three years later, I still use them, which says a lot.

The other big plus is their excellent support. I have always had a good experience with them if I had an issue.

I highly recommend them.

Cons

I find the pricing delta between their smallest package and the one above it to be too large in price and page views. I wish they had one more pricing tier between the two. That's the only con I have.

Feature parity with other accessibility providers, easy to use dashboard, quick chat support

Cons

Installation seemed easy with the simple script, but we use GTM and had to contact support to get those instructions after a botched launch

Very quick and easy to set up, it made our site accessable.

Cons

I found no cons to the software. I did find cheaper options, but none of them scored as well on accessibility testing sites.

Pros

Their customer service was outstanding. I needed initial help installing the code on our website and they provided great videos and instructions on how to go about it. Something I thought would take me hours only took me a few minutes due to their service.

Cons

I wish that beforehand I knew about the shopify (backend system we use for our website) app for UserWay because I would have been able to download the code easier. That is more of a shopify issue and not Userway.

Pricing was huge. AccessiBe pricing was based on pages and not page views. We barely hit the higher end of page counts that bumped us up to the next paying level which was $1,000 more. As a small business we could not afford that.

The ease of deployment and maintenance has been great for us. I rarely have to think about compliance or accessibility as UserWay's Widget takes care of all of it!

Pros

Many of our clients in healthcare serve vulnerable populations including seniors and those with disabilities. Userway plays an important role in reducing barriers to these populations in the community, by making the websites promoting valuable services accessible to all.

Cons

The hundreds of strange/unrelated websites that appear on my list of sites.

The widget contains all of the required tools for people with various disability or requirements, whether it be visual impairment, dyslexia or anything else, and the trigger icon is small enough not to get in the way when it is not required.

Cons

I was able to personalize the interface and adapt it to the tools we need the most in our website as our users are visually disabled or low vision users, this way we were able to adapt it to the needs of our website users . For our type of business is important as a low vision optometrist as our website users are full users of most of the tools found in User way such as Contrast, Increasing fonts, and voice reading.

Cons

Most of the tools are very useful however on some images when we do have inverted contrast colors it kind of keeps it similar. other than that is fine.
I didn't know we can integrate with other platforms I wasn't aware of that

I don't think there's anything we dislike, and we've never received any complaints. I would like it if it had reports on how many times it has been used.

Initially I didn't know I could customize the colors or the locations, but support helped me modify things to match our branding.

I like it. Easy to use. I look forward to seeing new possibilities to add more websites under the same subscription.

Pros

It works nicely and is easy to set up and understand the different levels of accessibility on the reports.

Cons

Would be nice to have guidance on "how" to fix the issues found on the reports. Also, it should be more affordable for those with many websites. If we work with events and bilingual websites using different domains we should be able to use the same subscription.

Cons

Userway needs the official Joomla extension to be updated. It would be easier to integrate with Joomla-based websites.
