It saves me a ton of time since I can see my code and a live view of what my website looks like in one screen.
Pros
It guides me from making coding mistakes by highlighting the specific lines of code that contains errors and even suggests strings of code to use in some cases.
Cons
It takes sometime to learn its user interface especially if you are accustomed to using other web editing software.

Dreamweaver: A Good Place to Start

Dreamweaver allowed me to deploy sites quickly in the early 00's while learning more complex coding skills.
Pros
Dreamweaver is a perfect place for beginners to literally see how CSS and HTML editing affects a webpage. The Live Edit view is amazing, and you can have a pane of code open on the left, and see your website change on the right. Dreamweaver was key in launching my web design career. The automatic FTP-updating is excellent too.
Cons
However, the application is quite bloated and heavy, and was slow to keep up with advances in CSS editing over the last 15 years. Again, if you have Adobe CC and you want to start coding, give this a try. I have since moved on to Sublime Text for web coding/editing.

It has a lot of features but it isn't designed for self-taught users
Cons
Trying to understand how it worked was very challenging. I don't normally have issues picking up new software but this was the exception.

I highly recommend Adobe Dreamweaver, especially if you want to learn how to design and code HTML and CSS pages. It's a good application to have installed on your computer.
Pros
Adobe Dreamweaver has been around for years. I use the software to debug coding issues, and I like the fact that Dreamweaver highlights syntax elements when there is an error involved in my web code.
Cons
Well, Adobe Dreamweaver is part of a subscription plan and so it is included as a bundle. You have to pay a subscription fee in order to use Adobe's service.
Reasons for Switching to Adobe Dreamweaver
I like the ease of deployment of Adobe Dreamweaver. All I have to do is download the .EXE file and my computer unpacks the software onto my computer. However, if I use other CMS platforms, I have to customize many of the configurations before I can use the third-party software right away.

Always professional products. No technology which cannot be used in site building. Every parameter has his place in one of numerous docks/menus of Adobe Dreamweaver UT. Never fail, but its price is too high when you buy if out of suite.
Pros
There are no options, technology or request which cannot be fulfill with Adobe Dreamweaver suite. It work smooth, on every platform, with excellent integration with other Adobe tools in Suite. In my personal and professional opinion, there are no better and efficient UI in software industry than Adobe UI in general. It always work, always produce professional looking products, and community support is marvelous.
Cons
When you buy from Adobe, you buy service, not product. You have to work and make money to pay another year of subscription. You cannot make pause, point your "software upgrade" budget to another company or solution, because you loose your license. My positive minds about Adobe are stay at CS6 versions.

I overall think that Dreamweaver is great if you are looking to build a simple and professional website for your business. The features and templates are set up to save you time while looking professional. Some of the coding features are a bit difficult to figure out for more advanced customization which is a bit frustrating. The plug-ins are also a bit tricky to install sometimes, but once I figured it out, they work flawlessly. So overall, I would recommend Dreamweaver for starting your website design.
Pros
I like that there are already templates and pre built plugins that I am able to take and customize. This saves so much time and keeps things looking professional.
Cons
I feel that some of the features are very difficult to use and implement, and that some customization is very limited.

Fast and responsive website design and coding
Reviewed on 2023/01/29
Pros
Since its inception a long time ago, Dreamweaver has been growing and adapting to new technologies in web design, it is one of the most popular tools on the market, allows you to create and manage web pages dynamically, is compatible with other Adobe tools and has functions and visual tools that help the programmer to facilitate and streamline the work of coding. It allows us to work from templates, with which we can quickly advance in the work and adaptation of websites.- It also allows us to quickly include resources from the Creative Cloud and Adobe Stock libraries which are also compatible with other Adobe programmes such as illustrator or photoshop.publishing websites from dreamweaver is simple and intuitive, as it allows us to configure the servers and work directly on it.
Cons
Perhaps the only drawback is its price, as today there are more design and development tools which can be free and complete.

Since I am in this specialty, I advise beginners to use it in the beginning, because they will consider this a beginning for them. Do not rely on all the facilities that the program offers you, because you will feel lazy, I promise you.
Pros
It provides a lot of time, flexibility and power for designers and developers without any prior experience in HTML instructions, and is considered a helper for beginners in the field of developing and creating sites due to its various features designed specifically to serve hobbyists and beginners.
A very powerful feature in Dreamweaver is the auto-complete feature, spell check, and ensures the correct construction of code, and this is a feature that saves time for everyone and is very important at the same time.
Adobe Dreamweaver provides a set of primitive templates that you can modify any of them at any time you want.
Cons
Despite attempts to modify the design environment of the program, it is not without some errors.
I feel lazy sometimes from the severity of the facilities that the program has.

I started coding with Dreamweaver back when I was in school (I have very fond memories of it!), I've kept it in my repertoire of web development software, and now that I run a small web development business I still use it when I want to code a page that I need to visualize while I program it
Pros
Definitely a quick and responsive way of creating a website, coding and seeing the font end results change in real-time is a great way of getting things done in a time-saving manner
Cons
Sometimes it can feel a little too concentrated on the visual instead of the code, many features are not necessary for cases when you strickly want to be coding

It is a nice option within the Adobe family. I am not a coder so this comes in handy for people like me. You can design it visually and then see the code on the back end. I don't use it as much since Word Press and a lot of the template are providing more option but this product give me customizations I need.
Pros
I like that it is included in Adobe Creative Cloud. It will also sync and update with the rest of my apps. I use Word Press for my websites but this is a great addition if I need custom code or something that Word Press is unable to provide in the template theme.
Cons
It is not intuitive. But I would say not all Adobe products are intuitive. I had to watch videos and ask for help but once I got it, it has been great.
