I enjoyed using the software and had a blast with my science classes. All the teacher candidates in my course deigned and taught Thinglink lessons at the local schools and the school bought the accounts for teachers.

Pros

Thinglink is an easy to use software that allows you to use lots of interactive and diverse elements to create a rich learning experience for the learners. It starts with a FREE trial and for $35 a year a teacher can enhance teaching with the ThingLink interactive and 3D tools.

Cons

I was upset that I lost my projects when the account was changed from paid to Free.

Being a creative teacher, I love offering this program to my students, however the price gets costly every year. I still continue to use it because of how excited my student get to share new learning.

Pros

What I love about Thinkglink is that it can be used as an educational platform that makes learning exciting for students. Instead of writing a book report on the Revolutionary War, students can use their research to create a dynamic visual and share their expertise with the class. This interactive platform allows students to be creative and explorative.

Cons

I love this platform, however I would love that the platform allow students to draw picture and create diagrams. For instance students could teach a math or science topic to the class. As students use their presentation skills to share their ideas, the program can switch to other images or picture with the tabs that pertain to each.

Big data is utilized to build information about the area around our school via the map function. It was easy to share videos and content created by students.

Pros

As a teacher and a user of thinklink, I have been using it for years. Accessibility is very high, and students can easily create content on their own. I would like to commend this platform in its own right, as it allows teachers and students to engage naturally during class.

Cons

There are times when the server is unstable, and sometimes it doesn't work well on other platforms. I'm not sure why, but sometimes uncomfortable cases occur during class.

Attach interactive content to plain documents or pictures

Reviewed on 2021/08/11

Pros

ThingLink's key feature is using previous content such as images or even 360° images and adding tags to it. Those tags can be any type of media, be it another ThingLink, an embed code, image, video, audio, you name it.
Best of all, you can create custom tags and design content that is perfectly suited for your goals.

Cons

I have not found any feature missing that I would need for now.

Thinglink helped me land a job. I teach courses in multimedia journalism at the university level. Recently, I interviewed for a job and discussed my professional work and the tools and software I use. I used a Thinkglink example. It is always interesting to see someone's facial reaction when they learn of the product for the first time. For example - What is this? Wow! Where did you get this? How do you use it? Wow!

Pros

Thinglink, to me, is an immersive software that enhances teaching and the relaying of information.

Cons

I don't see a downside as I have been with the software for quite some time and.

As it relates to our work, this has been a very important tool for us especially during COVID 19 when the situation demanded that we focus more on digital tools to achieve the desired impact. ThingLink allowed us to do this with ease and a very professional final outcome.

Pros

We like this software because it is easy to use and helps us share our work digitally in a way that maintains a great deal of the in person experience by bringing together 3D images, videos, voice interviews, photos, and text. It is also easy for our audience to engage with.

Cons

We haven't had any issues with this software. On the contrary, the ThingLink team has been very helpful.

ThingLink has been a great asset in these trying times and definitely something I will continue to use. I am looking forward to spending time to do a "deep dive" into more of ThingLink's features and flex my creative muscles.

Pros

This software provides close up views and access to content areas, in a unique way for students to explore. Throughout the pandemic, our school was remote and in-person, so ThingLink provided a fun way to peruse "crime scenes" or identify various muscles within an image, whether it was for an exam, homework assignment or general studying.

Cons

Additional features for 3D images or abilities would be cool, as would videos and diving deeper into content, but some of those may be available with higher paying accounts. As a teacher, always crunched for time, I kept it very simple.

Helpful Product for Health Education

Reviewed on 2021/08/11

Pros

I used ThingLink to make interactive anatomy diagrams for my online sexual health education classes. The software made the diagrams more interactive, making students more likely to spend time on them. I liked that I could add pictures and audio to pop out captions, which allowed me to go in depth without taking up a bunch of space on our digital platform.

Cons

I needed to integrate these diagrams onto my curriculum Google site, but wasn’t able to do so. The link on the site brought students to a ThingLink page, but they couldn’t interact with the diagrams within the Google site. This makes students less likely to interact with the diagrams as it requires more work on their end.

ThingLink is one that proactively transforms classrooms into more interesting and engaging learning experiences with its high-tech features. This is very helpful, especially in these virtual circumstances. Interactive images, video, 360° panorama, and even VR provided in ThingLink can facilitate and empower students to work on creative class projects using various media tagging. ThinkLink also offers more interactive ways of presentation which is awesome.
