Pros

I like that all attorneys and paralegals get the texts so, we can all work together to make sure the texts are replied to.

Cons

I do not like how you have to mark a message as resolved for it to drop off your feed

Please add group texting!

Pros

Sharing across multiple users is very convenient! And customer service is top notch, they are very responsive.

Cons

I don’t like that I can’t do group chats in the same way I can with a cell phone. Sometimes I need to text with customers or employees as a group so they can respond back and see each others’ responses. Unfortunately the group text functionality in Text Request just sends texts to each person in the group individually.

Overall, we have had a great experience using TR. We have enjoyed it and our clients also love that they can contact us on the same number that they can also call. I love that it is not a normal 5 digit number that seems like spam but our own number that our clients trust.

Pros

Overall, TR has really helped our company reach out to as many clients as possibly, have availability 24/7 for them, and and record so much data for the team. It is so user friendly for all ages that are employed at our company. It is also decently priced for what the product offers.

Cons

There are some times where TR wont send out messages, saying that they could be spam. Nothing seems to trigger this and we looked into how to fix it but nothing has worked. We need to use symbols sometimes like a dollar sign. Additionally we already have our account approved with 10DLC.

My experience has been very positive! I enjoy Text Request more than I did with the previous platform that we utilized. I truthfully don't have much to complain about.

Pros

I really enjoyed that Text Request allowed us to transfer our contacts from our previous texting platform. It helped us maintain clear communication with each of our clientele. Their group messaging function is also very useful, and I'm thankful that there are safeguards that it presents to us for use in avoiding group messages to patients from being marked as spam.

Cons

There aren't many complaints that I have about their services, but sometimes I notice that my text conversation with a contact does not appear within the "Conversations" tab when I search for them by phone number. Instead, I have to find their contact in the "Contacts" tab and then be redirected to my ongoing conversation with them from there. It happens very rarely, but it does slow down our communication processes when we do encounter a hiccup like this.

Being able to contact clients, other of our locations and staff with one relatively simple platform.

Cons

Not a lot of after hours contact. With clients that are open 7 days a week, having someone available can really help with the client satisfaction of the service.

The support for Text Request is amazing - they really do care about our questions/concerns and respond quickly, I love how they also utilize LinkedIn to share great information with their users.

Pros

Text Request saves us so much time and makes communicating with our clients and their team members so easy and quick. NO more wasting time calling them with updates or questions, a simple text that any of our team members can respond to and keep the conversation going. SOOOOO valuable.

Cons

I don't like that when we send our group texts they come across as individual texts to the people we are sending to. Makes it confusing to know if everyone received the text or not. We send group texts for a reason so it would be great to receive them as group texts so we can continue the conversation as a group.

We had some issues in the beginning with one of our dashboards not sending messages during the 10DLC transition. However, TR fixed us up, gave us a new dashboard, and we were able to keep working.

Pros

The fliexibility to do what I need to do, when I need to do it. We use TR for marketing and current client interaction.

Cons

It seems super overpriced, but there really isn't anything on the market that seems competitive.

Decent Platform

Pros

My veterinary team and I utilize Text Request primarily to live chat directly with pet owners. We love the ability to chat and that it offers our clients an alternative to speaking on the phone. We also very much like that we have the option to take payments via text and schedule messages for a certain date/time.

Cons

For all of the benefits of Text Request, I have found that the platform often lags or becomes unusable; There are often errors loading or sending messages, as well as a lack of capability of handling certain attachments that are important to send to our clients (estimates, invoices, etc.). Additionally, since I began using Text Request nearly 2 years ago, we have never had the ability to use the "mark as paid" feature; We simply receive an error message when attempting to mark something as paid. This has been reported by me personally to the Customer Support team on several occasions over the past 1-1.5 years and has yet to be corrected. Finally, I do wish that clients would NOT receive a text notification once their payment has been canceled as it tends to confuse people; I would prefer this feature to remain internal only.

Eases the burden of contacting customers

We have reduced playing 'phone tag' with many of our customers/families as response time with text messages is tremendously faster. In turn, our families who use our programs now understand texting is a great way to get the questions answered faster as multiple staff have access to the main number's messages.

Pros

The system was easy to set-up and invite users on our staff to start using. The ability to text from our main phone number has saved all of our staff time in phone calls and emails as simple texts get the information out quickly and two-way communication allows us to get that quick acknowledgement from the customer they did in fact receive our message.

Cons

The system itself functions well for its purpose. The only small issues we have encountered is how the Windows desktop app will not always update or load properly, but is resolved by restarting the program (usually after waking a PC from sleep mode).

Pros

At my company we use tect request on the day to day to communicate with our guests. Alot of people prefer text over calls, and its a great tool especially when we just have information to pass on, or need a answer questions at the guests leisure.

Cons

You have to be on the actual tab of text request to get an alert. It does not chime unless you are on that tab. We have been experiencing some glitches, but usually resolves itself within the hour.
