Dispatchers can schedule appointments using our Opendock calendar.

Couldn't get run a good shipping report.

It was easy to maneuver around in. Learning how to use it was easy as well.

You couldn't capture actually loading times. It only captured the time of arrival and departure.

Freedom of scheduling and it allows us know what trucks are inbound.

Nothing it suits us very well. we used a different scheduler in the past but this one works best for us.

There are many tools in here that are valuable and the date that provided is amazing.

I was originally the Admin and then all of a sudden I can't make changes. The General Manager, who has absolutely nothing to do with the schedule or otherwise, is now the admin. Can't get it changed back. That is not a job under his title, that is mine. I can't make it effective for us to work with our schedule, so it's good, but more bad bcuz I can't help carriers or change the format of the schedule to what my facility needs.

Opendock makes booking loading and delivery appointments a breeze

They are pretty pricey so make sure that your benefit outweighs the cost

The automatic email feature and all of the information that can be entered or referenced on Open dock for a delivery appointment. The detail reports that are available.

Nothing, I like everything so far. We have not used all of the features available yet.

I like the fact that we can have carriers schedule through Opendock instead of us having to do the schedule. With our past company, we would take emails and plot out the schedules ourselves but with Opendock, we don't really have to have that much interaction with the carriers--just instruct them where to schedule and what company to use on Opendock.

I don't like that we have to consolidate the schedule every time we want to keep vendors from scheduling too heavy during a day. For example, we have Coyote who tries to kill us with scheduling six trailers in one day. We have had to cut down the schedules/dock doors to try to limit the carrier from scheduling so heavy. I wish there was a way that a carrier was limited by Opendock to where they could only schedule 2 or 3 a day (set up in Opendock by us) to limit a carrier from trying to overkill us on trucks. There might be an option, but I have not really heard of a way to prevent this. This would save us some issues with our current situation.

looking up the appointments and then the easy click of a button that the shipment arrived. Also, the updates that you can leave for others to see about the appointment.

I like the program the only con would be too many appointments with the same PO scheduled not leaving room for other appointments that may be needed.

I love the ability for our carriers and vendors to self select open appointment times. Prior to subscribing, I had a person devoted to scheduling loads into facility. Great win and love being able to run reporting too.

Adding/removing docks, but it works smoothly now.

Opendock is a game changer and an essential tool for any organization. From day one, it has facilitated a smooth transition, enabling carriers, suppliers, and employees to seamlessly book appointments daily. The program is incredibly user-friendly, and has surpassed our expectation.

There is nothing we don't like. Everything has worked as it should. Continual updates and excellent customer service.

Scheduling in general. I've never had trucks scheduled before so as a supervisor being able to plan labor and be proactive is a huge win.

Honestly, it is not on opendock at all, but carriers scheduling in wrong time slots or under wrong docks is my only con using the application currently.

It takes a lot of extra work off of me having to schedule appointments and manage my schedule.

I wish when a load is canceled that it would disappear completely and not just be grayed out.

Opendock is a very intuitive system; very easy to set up and use with very little training needed. They are constantly adding new features which give us even more opportunities to improve our operations.

A scalable pricing program would benefit small operations.

Inability to pay by PO and difficulty around payment for use of the system

I can see what orders are coming in, so I don't have ask the vendor if my po as shipped or ask my warehouse do you have an apt for my po.

I have not found anything I don't like about Opendock system.

The convenience of making appointments for customers.

When it continuously makes you login after a certain amount of time.

The ability to set users with different levels of usage.

Not able to un cancel a load once it's been canceled. Not able to add tags / info when you hover over the appointment.
