We have the ability to utilize Changepoint PSA as end-to-end tool from CRM, Opportunties, Projects, and invoicing. Very powerful to have the data contained in one tool.

Pros

The ability to configure Changepoint PSA to your organization is bar none. With that power comes the scalability, reporting, and end-to-end process integrations that support continuous improvement and efficiencies that support your company's overall Vision and Mission.

Cons

The power in configurability is amazing. With this comes an onus on an organization to ensure processes are well understood, standardized, and efficient as part of the implementation. If done in concert, the advantages of Changepoint PSA are tremendous.

A great feature of the Changepoint PSA system is that administrators have the ability to customize the tool, which requires careful oversight, thorough planning, and established processes. Overall the PSA experience has been a positive one, where the support from Changepoint staff has been consistently present, and where the product is continuously improving.

Pros

The software has a strong and robust data structure that can be used for effective reporting, analytics, resource planning, forecasting, project management, and much more. It is essentially a one stop shop PSA offering that includes the ability to customize the product as needed to fit any business need.

Cons

As strong as the data structure is, the user interface and navigation has some room for improvement. Although this is a current need, the Product Development team has done a great job of involving the customers when looking for improvements to the system and the overall user experience. They are currently addressing this by developing system upgrades and monthly iterative releases.

Not a lot has changed in the 4 years I have worked with the product. There are some exciting things we would like to use, but challenge is to get managers on board. Changepoint is a slice of the pie, not the whole pie so not interested in doing everything in CP.

Pros

Industry leading. Web-based enables for better integration and visibility. APIs do perform well and need just minor enhancements

Cons

Too many clicks. Needs to be built to handle integrations better so users don't need to ask 100 questions or have to develop new enhancements to remove user error. Integrations will allow less user interaction on administration.

Changepoint is very stable, very reliable tool for managing our Professional Services business and was by far the best PSA tool for our business. Overall Changepoint has made a very positive impact on our service delivery and provides the reporting to better manage our KPI's.

Pros

Changepoint provides a signle tool to capture, track, approve and invoice out our services as well as mange resource assignments and demand for our customer projects. Reporting is excellent and provides many options to get data.

Cons

Changepoint is easy to use but is challenging to customize for specific business requirements (not opened source). Custom integrations such as Outlook or Concur can be difficult to deploy due to data challenges. User interface is not intuitive for non experts of the software but is improving with the 2020 release.

Originally we had 2 major issues to solve as a company. How much time we were spending on a project and the availability or capacity of our internal resources? Changepoint provides us the time tracking functionality and once we mature we will have resource management to help better understand our resource strengths and capacity.

Pros

The tool is extremely powerful, we like the ability to be able to use different modules as we continue to learn the tool. Time tracking and resource management are most important to us at the time of choosing the tool. We are very excited about the new analytics and reporting coming out as well.

Cons

The initial set up of the software can be confusing for example the set up of roles when internally we aren't organized the same way. Internally we struggle with roles but this did force us to understand the roles and responsibilities needed for the success of using the tool.

Pros

Capabilities it brings to the organization to manage resources, projects and financials making sure that billable time and fixed fee are processed each month correctly and easily.

Reporting functionality is the best in the market, open and fully configurable.

Allows to manage all services delivery in proper and timely way. No overhead while managing delivery to final customers.

Cons

In current version Changepoint 2019 user interface could be improved.
