I like this feature, which is quite successful in detecting and evaluating sound. When I record my voice, it scores my pronunciation and I can listen to it again until it's correct. I can easily listen to how to properly voice over.

I think the program was created only on sound and pronunciation. Besides, I am lacking in writing and reading texts. Perhaps, while so much infrastructure has been developed, the program can be divided into larger English sections. There are some parts that are wanted to be done in a day, these can get boring after a while. Therefore, it should be more diversified.

The capability to recognise every single sound from my voice is really impressive and this helps improve my pronunciation a lot.

The appearance is a bit confused to understand the structure of lessons.

Sometimes the software does not recognize the voice or is not clear about why your pronunciation is wrong. I need to use it to improve my performance, but I hate the kind of feedback.

The software corrects me immediately and I get immadiate feedback. The videos are also cool, previously no one could explain and illuastrate me, how to form sounds. As Englisg is not my mother tongue, these explanations help me a lot in my improvement.

There is only one thing practiced: eg. when I learn the "th" sound, I get words/sentences to pronounce, but the software focuses only on the "th" sound, while I pronounce incorrectly the other parts of the word.

The app is immersive, has good animations, is intuitive and you feel guided in your learning. In addition, it has different learning games.

1) Elsa does not have a British accent setting, which is why I have stopped using it.
2) The layout of the video pages leaves little room for the video itself, and it does not allow for rotating the screen to enlarge the image.
3) The learning games are always the same. It would be good if they were autogenerated from a database of words, like Duolingo. That way, the user could return and do the old exercises without going through the same words and phrases they have practised.

Its pronunciation focus. From day one, the app started to help me with my pronunciation.

Aspects of English that you need to understand to compare your speech with native speakers and tools for recognition

Sometimes it is very hard to achieve 80% and more for long sentences to compare with native speakers

It is the perfect learning companion, with a daily goal of 20 minutes of lessons, you quickly see improvement

The free subscription is very limited after the first week

I like a daily life conversation because it is usable and more natural. I learn many daily life sentences from this part.

I want a search feature. Sometimes, i want to know some words or get some example. I’d be better if i learn based on my interest not random on daily basis

The intonation was the most impactful because when I'm talking in English, I don't want to sound like a robot. The product was straightforward to use; it does by itself.
Elsa helped me a lot; integration with my existing business was easy.

This is something I couldn't evaluate right now because I'm delighted till now.

* It gives a good feedback about how your accent sounds and what do you need to improve in your accent
* It gives instructions about how to create those sounds (e. g. relax your lips, drop your jaw etc.)

* As said, the reminders didn't work well
* I wish there was a lessson that focuses and elaborates more on the IPA showed on the feedback
* Sometimes the app waits a few seconds to download the lesson or check for updates, not sure if it's my internet or something but it kinds of annoying

I love learning and tracking my language progress with ELSA.

I feel like sometimes there are some incorrect pronounciations but it does not happen very often.

Self-learning with interactive communication was very helpful for me and this Elsa speak gives me feedback on my speech which I thought it wouldn't be possible without off-line teacher. Speech recognition looks it works for me so far even sometimes I doubt how it would work as it just points out the same pattern over and over.

As I mentiond in the pros I feel sometimes the speech recognition gives me the same feedback. However it's not easy to find a way to improve it in this app and I think I need to get advices from teachers on the pattern. I saw the app has a community to find a teacher but I don't think they would know my progress in the Elsa speaking.

The most important function of this app for me is the correct recognition of sounds and the evaluation of how correctly they are pronounced (with recommendations for improvement). Of the apps I've tried, Elsa is the one that recognizes sounds correctly.

Unfortunately, sometimes there are still problems with sound recognition. So you can continue to improve the engine responsible for speech recognition.
Sometimes it is not clear what exactly is wrong in the pronunciation (not enough comments, how exactly to correct the pronunciation of the sound, how the language should be positioned, etc.) The app has added videos from Rachel's English channel, but sometimes it is not enough.

No progress report sends to my email like some apps

ELSA provides you real-time feedback on your pronunciation and teaches you how to fix whatever is inadequate. It’s is just perfect.

The app is a bit inflexible when it comes to accents — native speaker accents — and also connected speech. Sometimes in spoken English some Ts are dropped for example. But if you drop them while reproducing a dialogue, ELSA will mark you for it. Therefore, it needs room to foresee variation of native speech.

The app is brilliant! It helped me to correct my pronunciation mistakes in few months. It never happened during my 10+ years of learning English in schools. I'm happy to get closer to the native pronunciation every day. I like the most the feature of selecting a certain word and exercising just it. The app is absolutely great!

I do not find any cons so far. Maybe some integration with real teachers live could be introduce to enrich learning experience.

I like namely pronunciation skill, word stress, listening game.

I do not like speaking game and reading of long sentences. I find it useful, doing the recommended lesson daily.

It is easy to use, organize like basic to professional, have choices it defends on the user which one she/he preferred to use.

Don’t have categories so far like if medical, what I mean is it is broaden, the topic is more on general.

I liked one thing most it provides correction to even a single word when we are pronouncing it.

Sometime software lags and won't able to capture voice it becomes irritating.
