Take sightseeing tours, visit your home or work, or discover any place on earth from different perspectives.

Pros

1. You can zoom in and out to any place on earth to have a close aerial view – cities, mountains, beaches, roads, buildings, and so on.
2. Start-up tips provide guidance – just in time.
3. Try different layers to have a different perspective of exciting places on the earth.
4. Search any place, creating an exciting animation for you to reach there.
5. In street view, you can see a 360-degree view of the location.
6. This app has a flight simulator, where you can fly f-16 or SR22.
7. You can copy the images or view the location and share by email.
8. With the Movie Maker option, you can record the animation.
9. With historical imagery, you can view a site developing from 1984 to 2022.
10. The search bar instantly takes you to the place with an aerial view at about 700 meters.

Cons

1. Most visuals are unclear, perhaps not provided from the security point of view. Most images are apparent up to 300 meters in height only.
2. The toolbar and menu have several icons and settings that take time to understand.
3. You can also view the sky, Mars, and Moon, but there are hardly any clear images available.
4. Installation seems to be a bit insecure with a *.exe file. Alternatively, browser or mobile app options are also available.
5. Initial excitement tapers off after some time due to a lack of interface and explicit imagery.

The appearance of Google Earth is a real revolution in the world of maps, there has never been such a visualization of the world before, amazing that you can see the whole world without leaving your home, I use this application to see the property and the area, the application saves time and money before I go somewhere I can sooner take a look at the surroundings.

Pros

I like many things, the way the maps are displayed, the zoom, the marking of companies and objects on the map and the ability to put your own photos, measurement of objects, thematic layers, historical photos, etc.

Cons

The appearance of the application could be more modern because it currently resembles the design of windows 98.

Best online app for 3d study of earth

Reviewed on 2022/11/16

Pros

I have been using this since 2007. This is a great product it has helped analyze the 3d structure of the earth along with various physiological aspects such as rivers, mountains, oceans, islands, deltas, estuaries, bays, gulfs as well as countries. Google Earth has always intrigued me with how my local area looks from above. It even has various features in which you can see a particular timeline of areas.

Cons

Some areas are blurred which makes it difficult to analyze. IT would be great if all areas could be shown without blurring. A

As an engineer in a construction firm, planning is a crucial part of my job. Google Earth deals with a huge portion of the spatial aspect of the construction by providing maps, or even by helping with certain urban planning problems right there on the app.

Pros

Google Earth is so user-friendly that even a novice can boot it up and start navigating on their own. Plus, you can use it as a flight simulator and you don't need a beefy computer to do so.

Cons

While the graphical requirement of the software is minimal, the storage needed to allow you to view all the places you want offline is huge. There's also no obvious button to download all the places you need beforehand and you need to zoom in on each of them to get your data.

I'm guessing it's a feature to keep your storage use minimal, but I wish I could download a city.

Frequently used tool for architectural site review and presentation

helpful architectural presentation tool

helpful architectural presentation tool

Pros

I use google earth pro at work (architectural firm) to review building sites. Not only that but also, I integrate it with sketchup and actually situate the building for site simulation. It is a great tool to present and every time I use it, clients get excited to see their building at the physical location and they get to hover over it from every aspect to get a good feel of the overall building.

Cons

When I situate the potential building on site, there is no way for me to get rid of current buildings and surroundings which sometimes come in conflict. I can turn off the 3D buildings to get rid of them but then the whole map becomes 2D which is not suitable for my use.

Overall, my experience with Google Earth Pro has been good. The program's ease of use and wide range of capabilities make it a superb tool for displaying and analyzing spatial data. I enjoy how accurate and in-depth the maps and photos are, and how they are updated frequently. Google Earth Pro is a flexible tool for a variety of applications thanks to the ability to import and export data as well as generate unique maps and visualizations. In conclusion, Google Earth Pro is a thorough and potent mapping and analysis tool that I wholeheartedly endorse.

Pros

Making use of Google Earth Pro was a lot of fun. I enjoyed being able to travel the world from the convenience of my computer the most. I was impressed by the outstanding high-resolution satellite photography and like how simple it was to zoom in on particular areas of the program. Additionally, the application provides a number of tools for making unique maps, calculating distances, and even performing spatial analyses. For both personal and business use, I find Google Earth Pro to be a really helpful and interesting tool.
