MEGA is one of those softwares you absolutely NEED to use! You can easily upload or download everything you need, and storage your files safely without wasting too much time. Mega is really fast both in upload and download, and you can also pause the download, which makes it perfect if your internet is slow.

There's nothing I dislike about MEGA, at the moment it's a really solid software for me.

I love the ability to designate some files as favorites and that is a sort function so I can quickly find what I'm looking for. I'll be pursuing how to chat with potential clients in a secure, encrypted fashion and meetings of up to 100 people to whom I can sell my services.

I loved their high storage capacity for a one time price

They did a bait and switch to the Lord buyers. I've been harassed twice in a two weeks period that they will delete my account for inactivity. How dare they! I bought the account when it was on a life time desk - 10 TB of storage. And they dare say they will delete my paid account due to inactivity. To appease them, I logged into the account last week to show activity, but they still sent the email again threatening to delete my account.They even suggested I upgrade to a pro account where I paid monthly when I was fortunate enough to get their lifetime deal.These are bait and switch tactics, pure and simple and they can't be trusted.

It´s simple to use and it works well, on backup and computer sync data.

Don't have a sync tools for the QNap NAS

I like Mega features, file transfers with changeable permissions, and end-to-end encrypted communications. The ability to use it to read PDFs is great too.

After a certain period if it's not used it will delete the stored material.

I only use a few cloud storage softwares, and MEGA proved to be one of the best softwares currently available. Amazing and intuitive interface, it is really easy to use and it's incredibly fast in download when compared to other softwares. Love it.

Have been using this tool since Corona pandemic. Easy to upload files, photos, videos to cloud storage without any issues. Also I was able to add passcode to app which important. UI is perfect and simple.

I don't have any dislike features about this perfect cloud storage tool

It Have a Program you can Install and is the one who gives the geater ammount of storage free space.

Nothing wrong uploading or Downloding Files.

Need to focus on costumer care. It takes time to respond.

MEGA is extremely easy to setup and does not pester you with notifications whenever file sync fails. Whenever such problems arise, it works them out on its own. After years of using it, I have only seen notifications from it whenever my storage was nearing its limit, which unfortunately cannot be said of other popular cloud backup software around

My only issue with MEGA was that the Manjaro version was a bit buggy compared to the Windows or Ubuntu ones. Despite that, it's quite perfect

I love that MEGA offers you possibilities to increase your cloud storage such as inviting your friends and for each friend invited you to earn 5GB of additional storage!!! Also, if you don't want to invite someone, you can always earn additional storage by installing their software, verifying your phone number and etc. I earned 15GB additional storage just verifying email, phone number, etc! Cool right?
I don't think MEGA has download speed limits, I always download at a reasonable speed!
And of course, MEGA is all encrypted.

I just think the upload speed is a little bit slow.. sometimes the speed does not exceed 100kb!

Pretty affordable as compared to other similar tools like Dropbox or pcloudGives a decent storage of 20 GB even for the free plan.Works very fast when importing files and folders from a Mega shared link.Has robust security features like zero-knowledge encryption.Makes accessing data easier by having a mobile or desktop app.

Does not have any lifetime storage plan like pcloud occasionally offers

At the time my organization needed space but we had no funds, I cam across mega.nz which give 16gb space free for every signup. We could then pay for the company storage then each and everyone store their personal files on their own free space.

They are fun of suspending accounts for suspected activities.

A mountain of room to store photos, videos, and whatever else. App for my phone and web app for my notebook, I love the setup in both.I don't have to sync Mega since it's done periodically anyway.

Gladly I didn't need the help many times, when I did though I wasn't loving the service.

- end to end encryption; definitely a must in this era, ensures security and privacy of files;
- service is generally easy to use and navigate;
- generous 20 gb of free storage;
- desktop app for quicker uploads;
- easy to use mobile app; and
- source code of their applications is available for all to see and scrutinize which is a plus for transparency and builds trust in the service.

UI and UX could use some work; particularly when uploading documents and stopping uploads. The UI and UX can be a bit confusing.

1) It was the fastest hosting site I've come across in the last 15 years. 2) User can host and download without advertisements or pop-ups. 3) The site has the free version. 4) The user can also download on the cell phone even if they are not using the mobile version application.

Nowadays you have a lot of limitation on the amount of daily download, but it makes up for not so heavy files.

You could not lose your files to scammers with this service

Make sure you don't lose your password, there's no way to recover it from the website.

The best thing with mega software is the free space they give for each signup.

It's a little slow as compared to other cloud storage applications
