My overall experience with Google Translator is amazing. As a freelancer, I worked with different types of people around the world who use different languages. All people don't know English, they love to write in their native language. Google Translator tool always helps me in this type of situation, communication becomes smooth with those types of clients which helps me to connect with more people.

Pros

Google has developed an excellent tool that is very helpful for all people around the world. Not only a few sentences or paragraphs, but this tool also allows to translation of different kinds of files such as DOCX, PDF, XLXS, etc. It's very simple and easy to use, I can type texts directly, add texts through a virtual keyboard even translate by voice. Another helpful feature is, I can check the translation history which is really helpful. Integration Google Translator with WordPress website is pretty easy by using the plugin, as well as on the browser extension even in the smartphone.

Cons

Almost everything is good in this tool, but there is a weird thing I've noticed on Google Translator which is its translate style. For example, a sentence is written in English that I've translated into the Bengali language; the tool sometimes can't translate the sentence like how the proper native Bengali language act. There are no human feelings in the texts, seems like it's translating by a robot using very hard words. And the translated texts are also shown in the English alphabet but not in the correct spelling. I think this software needs to improve the user experience.

The Mishaps of Google Translate

Google Translate has solved some small language barrier issues for the duration of my use of it, it is easy to use and understand however, like I said before its illiteracy to colloquialism can causes major mishaps to occur.

Pros

Google Translate is a very easy software to use for very simple translations of languages. There is a web browser version and an app allowing for use wherever you happen to be. Google Translate has a plethora of languages and for the vast majority of people your desired language will be on this software. The speaking feature lets someone speak into the software to translate it which makes interactions easier and the mic features allow for you to not only get a translation, but also a sound. Google Translate also shows you the part of speech if you are translating a singular word and shows other variations that could be said.

Cons

The biggest problem with Google Translate is its accuracy of the translation. The software has almost no recognition of slang or lingo which causes a lot of casualties. One interaction I had on Google Translate when I was translating Filipino to English caused there to simply be no translation. The lack of human understanding in the software makes certain languages very difficult to translate. Even translating colloquial phrases in a language you can already comprehend can cause incorrect translations.

Pros

This app and online interface both are easy to use and just get the job done quickly and without fuss. The feature to read text from an item in front of you, using your phone's camera works well and is genius for things like reading a foreign menu or products in a store.

Cons

There's not a lot else that you might need from this—it can read out your response, translate text or from an image, and it's accurate. In short, it does exactly what it promises.

I use it as a reliable tools in my work. I have been using this software to translate a variety of dialects. Particularly with people from different regions, it enhances communication. When we visit different countries, it is helpful. This tool has a huge number of users, and because the linguistic data set is always changing, it must improve its precision. It sounds pretty good to me.

Pros

It is really a very effective service through which we can find new dimension of communication. Both the application and its speed are completely free. The interface is easy to use and requires little setup. It can translate into a wide variety of languages with good accuracy. To make communication simpler, we can use the application mic to convert speech to text.

Cons

Sometimes the language is thought to gain momentum. There are many languages that I can fix most of the time by it. It is impossible to know whether a translation is accurate. This application has weak privacy and security protections. The support staff has trouble effectively resolving problems. There aren't many regional languages supported by this program. Translation errors cannot be independently verified. It can only function with an internet connection. It should be developed.

Overall, my experience with Google Translate is great and it is a tool I use every single day.
It is definitely a must-have software for both desktop PC and mobile phone and I find it very practical for conversations in 2 languages at the same time with the "Talk" feature.
The translations are also getting better and better and the community is very kind and helpful.
Therefore, I can easily recommend this piece of software for all the compatible devices it is available.

Pros

Since my native language is not English, I often face the need to use Google Translate. What I like the most about it is the very precise translations it gives and the amount of languages it offers to translate.
I also like the "Detect Language" and the "Docs" feature, which is very handy for an integral translation of larger text documents. I feel that the translations have had a great improvement with time, considering as well the contribution of the great community around Google Translate.
I may refer as well the "Camera" feature on mobile, which is very practical, useful and fast.

Cons

What I like the least about Google Translate is its layout and User Interface (UI), which I feel that hasn't been upgraded over the last years.
Another thing that could be improved is the "listening" feature, which often has voices a little bit robotic and monotonous.
Other than that, I have no other things to mention in this section.

Since we use J-1 workers as seasonal housekeepers, we must communicate and efficiently. Twice did it cause us concern, once the shock wore off, we laugh about it now. One Hispanic housekeeper said there was an alligator in the condo. Now, that is not all that unusual in southeast Louisiana, so we were all on high alert and proceeded with the upmost of caution . Turns out, it was only a gecko, but she did not know what it was called, and to her alligator seemed to fit the body style, shape and head. thank goodness it was maybe 4 inches long and not 4 feet! Our second time was when from a different region of Spain, the words kept displaying wrong, to her speech. He kept telling us the flamingo was broken, but we knew there were no flamingo decorations in that condo at all. Turns out the software did not have his regions' dialect correct, and although it showed up as flamingo, the worker was talking about the fountain, which was actually the faucet. It all made sense when he showed us the broken kitchen faucet.

Pros

Once we know the language the J-1 worker speaks, we can communicate better.

Cons

Different regions of countries will have different dialects and figuring out certain words were an obstacle, but we made it.

Pros

Google Translate is a free and easily accessible machine translation service. It can translate texts, documents, web pages and even images into other languages. In particular, the real-time image translation function is essential and very useful when traveling abroad.

Cons
