Pros
It's simple to use and intuitive, contract entry is a breeze and the reports are all streamlined and customize-able. Tech support and customer service are very quick and knowledgeable.
Cons
There a few features I would like to see like being able to send auto notices for expiring memberships, and table imports for large data changes.

ASF has made it so much easier for us at Total Balance to keep track of all our members membership agreements, their previous and future payments, their attendance and so much more! It is so simple and straightforward to use which I love.
Pros
What I like the most about ASF payment solutions is how user friendly it is. It is very easy to learn how to use. Everything is organized and set up perfectly for easy usage.
Cons
What I like least about ASF payment solutions is how it is sometimes hard to get access to do different things. For example, I will be granted access to change something in a members account, but then it still won't let me do it. I also dislike that we can't add more than one discount onto a members agreement. Sometimes I need to use the ACH discount code and a 20% off dues adjust but you can't do both.

Its a breeze inputting members, tracking their attendance sending emails as well as invoices and reminders. The prospect section as well as assecabilty to attendance input could use better structure
Cons
The prospect list could be more easily assesiable vs having to re enter that section after you make on each prospect. It would also be nice to not have to exit out and input usernames and passwords to input attendance only to have to wxit back out to input username and password in order to access kicksite for anything else such as payment input,nptospects ect

The biggest thing has been the decline in the quality of customer service.
Years ago the team was really good. Over the past 2 years, the reps are clueless and I dread calling because they never know how to help me and almost always end up wasting my time and have to wait for a call from someone who understands my issue.
Pros
I like the analytics tab. It needs more options for reports
Cons
No online waivers, prospect management and automations, no ability to text customers

It is very difficult to solve any problems with ASF because they don't return calls. Again, the software has gone down hill. I am now shopping for a new software. I cannot continue to lose money with this company. They are getting their payment at the end of the month regardless of the way they treat you.
Pros
I joined ASF in 2016. I loved that you had your own account specialist. The specialist who was assigned to my account was very personable. She took the time to learn my fitness studio and was able to assist with any of my issues or concerns.
Cons
ASF has went extremely down hill during and after Covid. I feel that I am so far vested that it is a hassle to change software. I strongly advise if you are looking for a company to run your gym, avoid ASF at all cost. I believe they hired a whole new staff that desperately need extensive training. I often feel like Im teaching them about the software. The staff is very rude and lack knowledge. I called several times to set up training on a new feature that was offered. I have yet to receive a call back. As a matter of fact, don't waste your time calling. They never return calls. They have screwed up my membership packages so many times but never cease to take my monthly payment. I can go on and on. This company has gone from a 10 to a 2!

I got used to the set up of the software and Like the layout of seeing my entire day and all classes and who is attending my classes for that day.
Pros
Seeing how many people have signed up for my class, love that! Makes it easier for me to plan ahead and knowing who will be there.
Cons
Members dont like to use the aapp because they find it time consuming to sign up for all classes. Maybe a feature that saves past classes or classes that member usually takes so they can click something that says, " Would You Like to Attend Bootcamp 7pm with Alexandra Next Week?" OR " Would You Like to Sign Up for ALL of Alexandra Morning or Evening Classes for Next Week?". Anything to make it easier for them to sign up!! I also wish that members could check themselves I to the class on the app so the instructors would not need to as that would save me approx 10 to 15 minutes between checking people in that did sign up and for the members that do not have the app I have to sign them up and then check them in.

ASF is continually upgrading its systems to keep up with the times. They listen to feedback well which allows us to keep growing our business.
Cons
Addon services and tracking is lacking. Better reporting and adding/removing of addons will be a huge improvement

I have been with ASF since 2004 I believe. This past year I had some issues, which I can understand your company was trying to be cautious, but I was not kept up to date on what was happening. Every time I called almost every person I spoke with was extremely rude. I believe the one nice person I talked to was [SENSITIVE CONTENT]
. Everyone else was absolutely awful. Honestly what has kept me with the company is simply not wanting to do the work to change. I've always been fairly pleased with being with ASF, but these past few months and having to call customer service and being treated so poorly, has left a very bad taste in my mouth. Also, not being able to contact various departments and being told that your employees also can't contact each other is insane. Before all of this I would have absolutely recommended ASF, and if all your employees could have been as kind and compassionate as [SENSITIVE CONTENT]
, I would probably not be so unhappy. This may be one of those moments you wish you hadn't asked how I felt.
Pros
I have been with ASF since 2004 I believe. I know how to use it, and that's my favorite part. I hate learning new programs.
Cons
I hate that I can't refund someone without calling. I hate that despite speaking with someone on the phone I still can't run someone's card for a year in full. I hate that there are several things that I would like to be able to do that I can't, like student check-ins, scheduling online, etc.

We have been with ASF billing services for about 20 yrs. We have tried other billing services but they just seemed to be lacking on the billing side and did not provide enough information on each member for our accounting purposes.
Pros
It is easy to navigate the Contract entry page or for a nominal fee you can just fax your Contracts in and they will do the data entry for you. Any changes after the fact can be done yourself or by customer service.
Cons
The speed of response to issues has slowed dramatically since Covid. We used to have a chat feature that was very fast and correcting issues in the system and making changes. No that they have a ticking system it takes 1-3 days to get a response in email and then at least 24 hours before you get a reply if there are other issues needed. Some issues need speed to correct and it helps our clients feel that we care about them by taking care of their issues as soon as possible.

The billing portion. However, sometimes, I will have someone tell a student to just ask me to cancel their contract, which is not why I have contracts.

Sometimes my test schedule does not work.
I am angry they are going to charge me $395 for a dongle to go with my print reader, that I have already paid for licensing. It was lost during pandemic and I can not use the reader without it.

Can be confusing. I actually preferred the old account inquiry to the new one. The full account can be seen on the entire screen rather that scrolling down

The ease of use, the system seems very easy to use once you learn the steps
Cons
The fact we can't delete or remove old accounts out of the database after they have canceled. We have a ton of old accounts that we would like removed but have been advised the system is not capable of doing so.

Lots of issue with past due balances and late fees. Members able to come in when account has been cancelled. No way to personalize for what we need

A little clunky, I have multiple locations would be nice to see all the locations in one report as opposed to clicking on each location, making my own spreadsheet to see where each on is at. For instance for revenue or trainer commission detail. Be able to see how all the locations at once as opposed to clicking on each on individually

I hate that if you don't have EVERYTHING all ready pre-set up section and try to enter it manually it takes forever. I also HATE that if you call customer service they want you to do everything. When I purchased their system it was sold as a full service collection system and not just a software application.
