Definitely user friendly the features this program has are great.

Not always accurate sometimes the real time location is not accurate

The old software was better. Did not like

Too slow. And maintenance program is not very user friendly

The devices work well and seem to be robust. The PEG interface is good in that it allows some local processing, but limited in what you can do.

it would be good to be able to write custom local software on the device, to reduce the volume of data sent over the air. It appears that there is a trend to go along tha direction with thier products, but it is still limited to thier peg, or peg2 interface. The change from PULS to DM-CTC has not been good. The DM-CTC platform obviosly is still not fully developed and misses some of the basic functionality that PULS had. Customer support in australia is poor, with questions first going to a local distributor and then passed to a support center in the usa. responses can take days, and are often just left unanswered. Direct contact to calamp for support does reduce the not normaly provide better results.

This product has many easy to use functions. It has great reliability and support.

Sometimes there is a lag in response time when doing a search.I would like a longer time period range on reports.

Able to see where a vehicle is at all time, speed, directions.

Hard to learn at first until you get use to it.

Overall the CTC is a better look and a more comprehensive feel than PULS, but needs work

jobs need to be assigned for everythingyou can't copy/paste a large amount of devices at once to configure/update firmware, you have to search manually for each devicei have to click "load more" to see simple facts on each device like phone numbers or ICCID numbers

It gives me locations of my inspectors. I can see where they have been.

It doesn't show accurate placement at times. It doesn't update often.

You can trust the brand and they have a solid support staff that is always willing to help

It really isn't a Calamp issue necessarily but the lead time on units can be tough at times if you are caught off guard.

I love that we are able to track our equipment and any given time of the day.

Sometimes it lags, and is a little slow when using the tracking feature to create geofences.

Reports and all of the features included

In my admin position, I mostly run canned reports for mileage usage to complete annual and quarterly reports to State and Federal agencies. The reports produced in CalAmp are easy to read and can be easily downloaded as an Excel spreadsheet.

I mostly use the canned reports for IRP vehicles. Although the software does allow you to filter on specific assets categories and vehicle numbers, I wish there was a way to filter on IRP vehicles explicitly instead of having to delete non-IRP ones once the report is downloaded.

I am able to log in and see where the vehicles are in real time. Reports come in great.

When I get a speed alert, the time it happened does not show up in the rout history or where it occurred.

What we are able to use seems pretty easy to use. We were provided the gps from the state as we have a state snow contract, but they limit what access we have on the platform unfortunately.

We value the real time tracking of our fleet.

Moblie speed is a bit slower than we'd like.

The recently updated interface made it much easier to keep track of where all our vehicles were at any given time. The increased filter options also allowed us to specify what we needed without having to sift through unnecessary information

It can be a tad slow sometimes, but that may be due to our hardware limitations
