Being able to easily extract datasets from Tyler was key to project success. In a small City with tight resource constraints, launching a new tool in the midst of the pandemic might have been somewhat risky. I have worked in Tier 1 ERP software and related reporting tools for many years as an implementation consultant. Comparing project methodologies, OpenGov has a superior model. Week by week, our team of three easily stepped through product overview, training, then data extraction from Tyler, then building our own datasets for budgets.
