I liked the ability to load the catalogs from other suppliers and customize products and add them into the website
Cons
Website builder limited, it's a lot of work to get this off the ground, it was really expensive. They told me I could run 30k through it easy and I never even made my money back.

Pros
Front end features were great but an "upgrade" removed the most important features and made it best only for non-changing products.
Cons
Cannot access your own data in a way that allows you to market to your customers. Huge price increases without clear notification. Features added and deleted even if it made user sites unusable by their customers. Lack of communication is a constant issue.

A Merchandise Maker's Dream

Pros
I thoroughly enjoyed using InkSoft when helping customers design their merchandise. From Shirts, to mugs, I could manage the graphics and the products their were going on.
Cons
Nothing in particular was a glaring issue for me.

With Inksoft, we are now able to cater to a wider market of people's needs. They can use their own artwork, manage their own approvals and when the customer approves their art, it takes the liability off the company for mistakes in grammar or spelling.
Pros
We have the deluxe version with the Design Studio and the Point-Of-Sale system. The training takes a bit, but they go at your pace. Our customers love the ease of use from the design and purchasing standpoint and we like the capabilities from the back end. The best part is the unlimited support. Their support (and even sales) team are ready to ask any question, no matter how stupid or how many times you have asked it.
Cons
Hard to catch on at first, and some of the features are glitchy. Overall, I do think this product is great.

Pros
Product is very easy to use and setup. It takes very little time to setup a brand new basic store for a customer.
Cons
Customization options are somewhat limited. Would like to be able to have 1 product listed and the customer chose the logo they want instead of having to make each product individually. Also, cannot bulk add products to stores which makes store making a little time consuming if you have more advanced or larger stores.

Inksoft didn't work for me...

Pros
We really liked the idea and the concept of Inksoft, but it never worked for us the same way it was sold to us. If the system is revamped and made more end-user friendly than I think this could be a wildly successful software.
Cons
We were not able to add a widget from Inksoft to our existing websites for customers to be able to customize their shirts. We were left to upload thousands of design elements that customers could use to make their designs, but it wasn't very time-efficient.

Great software for online stores. Functionality is good in most cases, and their customer service and technical support teams are fantastic

Some features are out dated. Limited customization is available. Pricing is not based on use, but rather a time period.

Extremely frustrated with Inksoft as the software does not support Canadian taxation rules. They had the functionality when we purchased it years ago and it was removed recently without notifying customers. This has created a lot of re-work and unnecessary headaches for our customer service team, managing incorrect orders.
Pros
The software is user-friendly, easy to manage stores without a lot of training.
Cons
There seems to be no clear development path with a patchwork of legacy features.

Pros
InkSoft's online stores and rapid product creator are insanely cool and powerful. Makes it incredibly fast and easy to make online stores for my customers. I even use this to present to new customers.
Cons
Could be easier to set up. Took longer than expected to get set up and learn the software...but I'm glad I did.
