Ease of use, the video tutorials, and ability to cut without exporting to a cut manager.

Cannot preview text in the drop down without opening font manager.
I have one unresolved issue that I haven't worked out with the spooler. Frequently my outline cuts for text, even when converted to a curve, are slightly different in length than the text. Years ago Vinylmaster did a test and said it's the plotter. [sensitive content hidden] had me do a test and they said it's the software. It's carried over through several upgrades and updates, but it doesn't do it every time. I have a work around so I live with it.

The huge file conversion ability for imports and the true V2000 .dxf export function. We use old Autocad software, and it is seamless to import there.

Epson print drivers available. I'm forced to use other RIP software

crashed a lot, colour control is not as good as Adobe

Vinyl Master is easy to use, offers so much more functionality than previous software that I used before. In the past, I did not have near the amount of features that I use now which I am thankful to have.

I would say upgrading from the software I had before to vinyl master was challenging without hands-on training at first. Although it was easy to work around the learning curve right out the gate.

25 years plus in the Signs & Graphics Arena, used every piece of Signmaking/Design package on the planet and I have to say when VinylMaster graced my working day it became obvious this was a piece of software made by proper 'Trades guys for guys in the trade' like me.
I don't go near any of the Stupidly Complex Design Headache creations out there.
Don't waste your money and precious time on anything else.
I can make a £1000 in a day with this Ultra Easy use software ..!

Only thing I van think of is if it could restore previous cut jobs to edit if it was not saved

The ease of use and all the right tools to make the production of signs and much more very simple. I've tried a lot of software for signs and none got me the results VinylMaster has. Also the cost of VinylMaster is amazing to be able to get these kind of tools for this price compared to other software at a very more expensive price.

I'm currently using VinylMaster DSR and the only thing is I wished it had the ability to rip to print. Other than that they are no cons.

using, the best tools on the market, to achieve an outstanding result.
Whether using the text tool, editing nodes tool, coloring tool or importing clip-art,
They all excel in a wide range of features to alter the result in a fast and accurate way.
After being a sign-writer for many years and using several professional vinyl designing programs, this is really the program to go for.
It does what it has to do in a phantastic and fast way.

Not using the same shortcut for the magnifyer, like most other high-end vinyl cutting programms and dtp programms like Corel and Adobe is using.(the 'Z'key)
When you're used to it, it's a bit annoying to have to push the magnifyer ikon.
2nd The poor quality of general clipart.

It’s easy to use and makes my jobs a lot simpler, it’s also very affordable.

Sometimes the system crashes if there are too many tabs running. I’ve had this problem with every release and wish it could be fixed.

Well the software did cost more than my vinyl plotter cost, without software that actually works and is easy to use. Then the plotter would be worthless.

Have not found any cons about it. It works as it should with no bad habits at all.

I love that it is full of tools that work perfect for the range of printing and cutting we are ntlprint do.

The shortcuts. Being able to add your own shortcuts for would be great for cutlines.

The ease of use and extensive toolset makes VinylMaster the best software for your cutter. Hands down the best in the business!

I can’t think of any cons. They offer different levels to meet any need.

Lot of possibilities for vinyl sign creating. Large toolbox.

User experience may be better with new menus and graphical design.
No macOS version

It is so easy to use. Importing and vectorising the images is a dodle

The only issie i had is that i do not have an eraser feature which would make amending designs quicker

Needed more fonts, so I upgraded to next level.

Ease of use, the training videos are super helpful, and the various products that can be used with VM is great. I can upgrade my machines as the business grows.

Cost, but I'm cheap. I suppose the tracing could be better, but that is most likely my lack of experience and not the program.
