All of it, it's a revolutionary system.I like avatars fidelity, so real.
AI features for all, scripting , VoiceOver and translations, voices are real.
I can produce a whole video inside app and complete with my edited sequences.

I would like to have real preview with watermarks instead of fixed speaker/actor.So that I can correct some details using my tricks and workaround .

I do not have a positive experience to submit to this platform.

1. “Community Guidelines” are far too abstract and arbitrary leaving too much interpretation to your censors of free speech to be predictable from the customer/developer.

For example, the cancellation of customer/developer videos for “impersonation” seems to not allow for any names either for the avatar to call themselves by name, nor for the avatar to address any person by name is contrary to normal conservational language standards.

For any customer/developer, the inability to use common language in your product does not allow for creative efforts into virtual environments to include live, virtual and constructive environments.

This restrictive policy removes the ability to present a normal dialogue in virtual environments and is too restrictive, and NOT mentioned in the material you provide prior to purchase of your product.

2. The application of your “Community Guidelines” is punitive and not collaborative.

Your “artificial intelligence” has been programmed to detect the potential of “impersonation”
should flag the material in question AS the material is being produced in the development window of your product. You could easily program your system to advise the customer/developer of the potential issue during the input stage that would save many hours of time from the customer/developer.

Your cancellation of customer/developer videos is very comparable to COVID level censorship and authoritarian means of silencing voices.

3. The inability to then edit and correct the flagged “violation of community standards” by being locked OUT of the materials that we were used during the development cycle means even a larger loss of time.

4. The lack of customer service and coordination over these issues is alarming and seems dictatorial. I see no effort to engage the customer/developer over these concerns, nor correct the waste of time that your company presents.

For the reasons above, I recommend avoiding this company. There are far more providers with better products and services.

The Avatar looks natural and the summary from the uploaded script is well-written.

The quota is small. I can make 30-minutes videos per month.

Synthesia is a great platform! It allows someone to become and avatar! All the years of shooting great videos, hair, make up, the right lighting- GONE! This is a platform of the future!

I think their video creation platform could use some work. I am an avid Canva user and some of the duplication features would be helpful in Synthesia.

The ability to be able to create bulk training videos that would typically cost $1000's of dollars, multiple team members and a lot of time, now can be done in hours.

Slides generation, its ok and I think as AI improves this will only get better with self-creating relative to the content for that slide.

Synthesia is the best avatar software on the market!

I think the prices are a bit steep, but the quality makes it worth it. And I'm not too fond of the content moderation system.

The variety of avatars and voices is fabulous and the quality is brilliant, really uplifts videos and makes them engaging.

Until the video is actually rendered by Synthesia, you don't know for sure, that the avatars are going to pronounce all the words correctly. I've had to tweak scripts because there are some words that the VO just can't get consistently right.

After assessing with other competitors, I haven't found any who comes close with the right balance of believability and quality of their avatars. The ease of use is also a great plus. I don't need complexity of features right now. For us, it offers true scalability and believability to our videos. We are also looking to scale out to other countries so offering translation capabilities is going to be a massive hit when we do.

Workspace needs some work. Inability to share Avatars in an enterprise environment. Although simple to use, and despite my comments earlier, a few extra editing tools would be useful. Being able to add emphasis to specific words over and beyond offering a phonetic spelling. Ability to slow the speach in places would be useful too. Adding pauses is a good compromise, but compromise it is still.

Personal Avatars are really great in terms of quality and voice cloning.

The fact only 3 plans available and once you max out the little 300 minutes you have to go enterprise and its a dark hole coz no one says whats included.

I like the quick and easy workflow which allows me to generate content for my eLearning clients and edit it very quickly when required. I love the multi-lingual options too, and use these for localising content.

A frequent complaint from my clients is that we can't control the cadence of speech in Synthesia.

You do not have to record the audio repeatedly until it is correct. i type it in one time, and I am done

Great product and very engaging compared to pdfs or slides where user engagement is typically low.

Pricing can be extremely high if you want to scale video production. Also think certain features like one click translation should be included, not an additional cost to upgrade.

Easy to use. Excellent quality video and voice.

The ability to translate a video quickly into another language.

It would be good to add voice to SET parts of an imported video. If we could have a pop out tool that showed the timeline of the video for us to then add the text, which would be spoken, to right part of the video.

Synthesia is extremely user-friendly. The interface is easy to navigate, and we can personalize video templates to our company brand. The platform helps us create engaging and relevant videos for our users, allowing us to enhance the quality of our online trainings and other company communications.

The only negative I have is that when new features are released, the system can slow down or appear "buggy," but these issues don't happen often and usually do not interrupt our work.

I am wondering if the new AI features allow for creation of images within Synthesia? It would be helpful is we could use a text to image generation feature.
