I like how easy it is to have a WYSIWYG interface to create a sweepstakes. But this simplicity can also lead to some pitfalls with regard to sweepstakes regulation. It's "too easy" to create a sweepstakes, and that could lead to some employees making mistakes with regard to compliance.

The webhooks did not work for us. They are well-tested, so I'm not sure what went wrong.

It's very intuitive & easy to use with alot of customizable features and features that I haven't seen in other platforms. It is also aesthetically pleasing and able to be customized to match just about any client's style.

There aren't alot of cons that I've experiences so far, but no matter what platform you're using there will always be small things that a client requests that you aren't able to do. With ViralSweep, the only things like this that I've noticed so far are controlling the size of the text in the extra content block on the entry form, and adding an underline to certain parts of text in the rules agreement and newsletter agreement lines.

Easy to set up and use, love the option of getting bonus points for whatever we like (really like that we can ask questions and receive answers).

We use this in-store as well.... and it was complicated to allow the stores to sign-up the customers themselves as it was always the same IP address.

Viralsweep makes it really easy to launch and manage a sweepstakes. They've got great built-in features for increasing entries by enabling users to earn more chances to win by referring friends. We use it a lot to increase social following for our clients by allowing people to earn more entries by following on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. As a marketer I love they that have Facebook pixel, Google Analytics, and other tracking technology implemented so I can see what advertising I'm running is driving results.

While the simplicity of setup is great most of the time, I do wish there was some more advanced options for customizing more intricate campaigns. I would love to be able to create full screen immersive campaigns with things like "what kind of X are you" type quizzes. Also, would love to be able to customize a subdomain and short link.

When exporting photos, it's hard to match up with individual users - would be cool if the file name was the persons email address or some other identifier

Things I found easiest to use about this software are the templates for so many different promotion types, integration of existing software from email to analytics & how easy it was to customize it. The customer support is also very responsive & helpful!

Some of the options we would like to further customize our promotions aren't built into this software. It would be nice to be able to have more leeway in how certain options appear.

The ease of use and functionality/stability of VS is so important to use. We run sweepstakes constantly and not having to recreate complex marketing programs each time is important to us.

Comparatively, the price is a little high as we have tested and used others in the past but the price isn't high enough that I would be willing to switch,

-Ease of use: the platform is pretty straightforward and easy for any team to understand, set up and implement
-Great value: for the variety of goals available, Viral Sweep has been great.
-Customizable- I like that the product is customizable and can be integrated onto our website

-Missing functions: I have had to "hack" some of the plugins to achieve some of the goals I wanted because the functions were not available like "follow us on instagram" I would just change the text to say that so they thought they has to follow to get an additional entry but really I had no way to track it. Its ok though, I still see value.

I’ve been using viralsweep for a year now and have had many success sweepstakes as a result.

The software works as it should - no problems yet

Love the different options for installing the sweepstakes. Love the ability to track facebook comments for specific amounts of time. This is especially useful for our users guessing scores to sporting events up until the start of the game. I love the ability to customize the layout and look of the sweepstakes.

Aspect ratios of the images for sweepstakes are locked into a specific ratio. If I upload an image that doesn't meet the exact dimensions it stretches or warps the image.

It's reliable, the service if there is an issue is quick, and it does the things we need to launch our sweeps

So far none. I'm happy that this software helped to solve my issue.

As a PR agency owner, we’ve used Viralsweep for multiple different brands and reasons, and we’re always happy at the end. I especially like how you can put your account your account on pause so you’re not wasting unnecessary budget in months a campaign isn’t planned.

I honestly don’t think there are many cons? I’ve never struggled with anything from ease of use to final product!

Simple and effective UI.
Deep customization for the widgets, social sharing, language, and signup fields.
Overall organization and the ability to separate sweeps into respective sub categories.
Ease of implementation within our landing pages.

Language section is robust but vague on where in the markup this copy is located or what feature it is tied to.

We utilize ViralSweep weekly and have found it to be an excellent tool for lead generation as well as for engaging our customers. We produce events that occur once per year and use ViralSweep to make sure our customers are engaged year-round and keep our events top-of-mind, even in the offseason.

I have not had any negative experiences with ViralSweep.

How it simplifies and manages the giveaway/sweeps process for our team.

More about policy changes than a knock on viralsweep - but social sharing options are becoming more limited and reduces amplification of brand visability.
