I use wisio.app not in my day job but for my side gig doing general research, it offers a range of AI-powered features to enhance the writing process. The platform provides personalized suggestions, translation to scientific English, instant search and referencing, and grammar correction. It has free option if you want to tey it, later on also if you ready it caters with different pricing plans. For curious person with much free time also, you can do personal essay writings that backed up with real data also so you can boast your knowledge to your peers.

The free plan is not that generous imho, such as restricted suggestions, translations, and grammar corrections per day. Also users may encounter challenges in accuracy or relevance, so your personal human touch still needed.

Magic mode is quite literally magic! I find this feature to be extremely helpful when feeling stuck during my writing (which is frequent). Additionally, the AI suggestion feature helps condense what I'm trying to say into a single sentence. Seriously is magic!

The software is still a bit buggy- I mentioned that the auto save feature gives me a tiny panic attack by showing me the template text rather than mine, and even through its for a split second, the frequency at which it occurs is concerning. Also, the AI suggestions does not pick up when I use my mouse to select text, it seems to only pick up text if I double click, but i can't double click a passage within a paragraph, forcing me to separate my text to get suggestions. I assume this will get better in the future

The interface was easy to use and it functioned well. I really like the outputs

There was little to no direction on how to use the app. That was the hardest part. Also the price is steep for a student especially when considering some of the free apps on the market.

The feature is most important in the research area and manuscript writing, in this machine era.

The way it populates references, it seems like there aren't enough options.

I could have an overview or themes that I don’t know to much about and get ideas for new research topics and content creation for science communication.

Some searches where not completely satisfactory and could not interact with the platform to ask for more information.

I like the AI suggested text option the most. I anticipate this app being very valuable and look forward to testing out various features.

As a researcher in a low-income country, I would be interested in how I can introduce more features to my research team and assistants that available on a longer term basis. I would especially be interested in a lifetime subscription instead of a monthly expense that would carry us from project to project including times that we are waiting for research proposals to be approved by an ethics board or academic institution.

It is expensive for me who live in Iran, I cannot afford it.

It allows to write efficiently by using all the features at one place.

The feature that needs to be included is to write equations and tables in an automatic editable form.

I am particularly interested in the automatic ways it generates references for a statement.

The free version does not offer much to spur interest in paying for the product.

Being able to "dialogue" with multiples PDFs and get coherent answers was the best diferential to me. Of course, academic business are not so profitable, but I hope you don't forget about us.

I liked it overall. Of course, the more documents you can upload to a project the better use.
