I love that many people can join a conversation on GroupMe. I am able to see the conversation that my colleagues are having to improve or community expectations.

I dislike that GroupMe notifies the people in the group about everything. If you change your picture, it will notify the group. If you delete a message, it will also notify the group.

It’s easy to differentiate between different chats and I love that you can have different topics within each chat!

If I had to pick one thing I didn’t like about GroupMe it’s that topics notify everybody in the whole GroupMe instead of just the people in that topic

ease to set up and ability to add users. access on computer as well as mobile

no file sharing, no calendaring, no ability to have "topics" or "threads", difficult to navigate stream of messages and no search

I enjoy the ability to connect a group of people easily and safely together in a convenient way.

I do not like that the users have to download the app before you can add them.

Easier to add folks to groups and works better across platforms than Apple Messages.

Tacky, cartoony emojis; less straightforward usage than Messages. And it’s a Microsoft product.

I love that it texts you when someone sends a message to your group chat. I like that you can privately message people in your chat without having to give over your #.

Sometimes if you private message someone from a group it doesn't alert them all the time. Messages can go unread.

Easy to use. Easy to customize and secure so you don’t have to give your phone number to everyone.

Honestly this is a pretty flawless program no issues.

In our organization GroupMe has met a need for communication that we did not have before. It is more simple than emailing a question and the response can be directly replied to. This saves time and provides a clearer way of communicating amongst our leaders.

We haven't experienced too many cons about this app, truthfully. We've really enjoyed it so far!

EASY TO USE AND KEEP IN CONTACT WITH TEAM MEMBERS

I DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING BAD TO SAY ABOUT THE APP.

This is an amazing way for everyone to be on the same page sharing and conversing at the same time. So much can be shared through this app!

Sometimes it's difficult to get in and navigate the actual account for each person.

This software allows me to get my students' phone numbers and communicate with all of them without them having my personal phone number. I can keep in touch with all of them without the hassles of differences in phone manufacturers. It also stores photos, so I can go back and get them later.

Sometimes the notifications turn off without me knowing it and I've missed a few messages that way. Doesn't allow for video chats, so I have to use another app for that.

Overall, it’s the whole package. Chats work well. Adding people or making new groups is a seamless process whether on wifi or data. Can handle photos and links well enough.

I wish notifications would clear across all devices associated with an account. There can be very very active group chats, and seeing notifications pile up on unopened devices even though you keep up with your main device is quite annoying.

It was very versatile as to who I wanted to create a group for. This could be done to communicate with anyone!

I don't have any negative thoughts about this software

I like the communication piece & the ability to “like” comments. Also individual messaging.

No way of sharing large documents easily. No bulletin board separate from groups.

I have been using this for years with my sons baseball teams. We could not live without it!
Easy to navigate and use for important messages regarding the team!

There is nothing I do not like about this software!

the best part of groupme was that it was free compared to other team chat apps. However, it didn't have any other features to manage my business like task management, work order tracking, and scheduling

Customer support was almost non existent which made sense since this was a free app.

Easy to use, can make posts to a public chat or sent private messages. Can add pictures and videos, add avatar.

Lack of smiles (emoji). Sometimes I don't get notification until I open app.
