we are satisified with they way alteon switch work , managing multiple farm and SSL is on few click job, monitoring concurrent connection , cpu load , etc are easily available.
SSL profile , vlan farm are best key point of alteon switch.
Pros
they way it handels connections and manage session with SSL off loading and providing best performance through put.
Cons
yet noting to share about alteon switch as they are continusly manageing there best.

The solution and maintenance are expensive
Cons
It is true that specialized knowledge is needed for use, however, its GUI interface is very simple and user-friendly.

I think it is an excellent product that has complete and flexible configurations, clear documentation, allows for quick backups, and no interruptions are perceived in high availability.

Alteon offers flexibility to manage internet channels and service publication, the application deployment is very complete, offering multiple configuration options that help the performance, availability and security of the services.

It provides help to distribute client connections to application servers. Integrated WAF protects web servers from L7 attacks such as XSS, XSRF, Sql Injection, etc. We also use it to offload SSL traffic.
Pros
Alteon VA is the virtual appliance of the load balancer, it supports all major hypervisors. The configuration of Alteon is very easy. it is not just for server load balancing, we can use it for Link Load balancing, and SSL Inspection, it also has integrated WAF for web application security. the interface is very easy to navigate, and adware's tac support is great. Manage SSL certificates, configure SSL offloading, and do many kinds of health checks to ensure connectivity with application servers, all this configuration is very straightforward.
Cons
Appshape script configuration is a bit complicated. apart from this, I didn't find anything to dislike about Alteon.
