Pros
Colen Built has utilized NEWSTAR’s suite of software implementations to streamline processes, better understand and respond to their customers, and modernize operations. Constellation offers a wide-range of products that helps manage the end-to-end operations of a homebuilder. The implementation of NEWSTAR is well organized, and other integrations can be setup with ease.
Cons
Some user interfaces are dated, although the functionality is more important to us than the UI. The expansive NEWSTAR system can take time to learn for new employees.

very easy to use, locked version of excel. Printable formats and reports are a great positive feature.

not customizable at all. Limited calculation functions. Limited levels you can go down into. Overall good

This software was great for basic functions. running batches, match P.O's etc. Preferred for low rise developments

Pros
Purchase orders and the ability to build mateials list specific to vendors. Each Vendor had a pricing file and you could bring up a mateial list and change the vendor to see what their overall pricing would be.
Cons
Not very flexible. Especially with accounting.
