The software does a great job at creating a database to inventory all of your assets and customization options that are endless.
Pros
I love the customization options available. You can truly create fields and automated workflow easy. I also love how many integration's are available!
Cons
I believe Oomnitza could work faster, i'd also say the user interface could use an uplift. The performance is a must the uplift is not.

Powerful ITAM software if you have the team and $$$ to support it

Overall my experience with Oomnitza has been positive. They have pretty good support, account managers that can really help you and the technology is improving. It is very customizable for almost any business need but does need more resources to support it and keep the data clean even with the automation.
The cost will be a big deterrent for many as Oomnitza won't even talk to you if you are below a certain device count.
Pros
The biggest pro Oomnitza has is it's extensive integration list. Most of the most common MDM and software titles have integrations to bring in asset inventory and software inventory. Their API workflows is powerful in bringing automation at scale.
Cons
The biggest con is the UI and cost. The UI still feels dated even though they've been through many revisions over the years. It's also one of the most expensive ITAM's out there and will need the scale to justify the cost.
Reasons for Switching to Oomnitza
API workflows, automation, and the amount of integrations was the deciding factor.- Industry: Higher Education

I think it has been more important for our ITAM department, but we have found great use for it as well. Once again the CSM and tech help have been incredible.
Pros
The customer service is out of this world! Their techs are very knowledgeable and quick to respond. They will help customize features for your company's use and really tailor their program to your needs.
Cons
There isn't too much difference if you build an excel file out well enough, but this saves a lot of time and does have helpful API tools for integration with other programs.

This is a very robust software, very customizable and facilitates tracking through a well engineered automation feature.
Pros
Customization. Dashboard is very flexible, you can customize it to your needs and it has a wide array of views for your assets. One feature I liked is the ability to provision just in time overview of my assets.
Cons
Sometimes the workflows are not so easy to understand and the automation is not straight forward in some cases or customizations.
