doodle used for tutoring meeting

Really happy with this application and would continue using it to setup my meetings.
Pros
Doodle is a great platform where I setup my meetings with the students. I really like and appreciate the simple but robust platform it provides to schedule and pole meetings. The feature to sync my work calendar (Outlook) is also really helpful.
Cons
The advertisement to the side of doodle poll or calendar is not very professional. I understand and can expect these advert for the free version.
One more thing, the sync feature of doodle with my Outlook calendar is slighliy weird. I also use doodle to setup a meeting call with my tutees via sharing my calendar. The tutees can find the suitable slot and book a time with me for a tutoring meeting. This is great as far. However if I make any changes to my work calendar, or some students cancel their meeting request, this does not turely synchronise with the doodle calendar.
So I believe the interfacing between doodle and outlook calendar needs to be improved.

Doodle used to be the standard for scheduling meetings and for good reason - the tool was easy to use.
However, the past few years, Doodle has really gone down hill.
Part of this isn't their fault: Calendly and other scheduling tools gained popularity and were more convenient for people to use.
Part of this is their fault:
- Their redesign was a big step backwards
- Their user interface is now worse and harder to use
- The free version is virtually pointless
With all of that said, if you do pay for Doodle then the product is a decent tool. Is it better than Calendly and other tools? It depends on your use. But, if you are looking to just use the free version, I would steer you in a different direction.
Hopefully Doodle will fix their issues and get back to being an extremely useful tool.
Pros
Subscription price isn't very expensive
Cons
User interface is lacking
Free version is useless

I love the features Doodle offers. It saves lots of time and energy, when trying to figure out meeting times.
Pros
Doodle is a great platform for companies that have meetings with outside shareholders. Scheduling meetings to fit into everyone’s schedule is hard, and doodle eliminates the need for the back and forth conversation to pick a date and time that works for most.
It is easy to set up a poll, input meeting times that are available, and have desired attendees vote. This makes for a faster and more productive way to host meetings.
Cons
I currently do not have any negatively to say about Doodle. For the uses we use, the platform works very efficiently.

It made personal conversations much easier for me through video calls that are fast and without having to travel to places
Pros
I use it to organize meetings with clients or coworkers. I can schedule them in advance to have an organized agenda and when the day comes, Doodle notifies me with notifications which meetings are for that day and the time of each one. I have found it to be a useful tool in which I can trust my entire meeting agenda without forgetting any and have a good conversation without interruptions
Cons
I use the basic tools and they have always worked correctly for me without any failures or system crashes

If you work as a team whether in work or school, Doodle will save you a lot of times to schedule the day. It has all the necessary tools for planning.
Pros
This software is one of the most efficient tools to organize your schedules and coordinate tasks with your colleagues/team members. The User Interface of this application is simple and straightforward, which means it is easy to use for beginners as well. It has all the essential features to plan out your day. Doodle is most helpful in a work environment when you need to coordinate tasks and meeting with others. My team used to spend a lot of times running around to save the time when everyone is available. With Doodle, group scheduling options allows us to save time, make shifts and adjustment without breaking a sweat.
Cons
Sometimes there is a glitch, which delays to show the schedule I updated. Also it would be extra helpful if the software has more integration/collaboration with other work-related software.

Do more with Doodle!
Reviewed on 2024/06/07
Pros
I love doodle. It helped with scheduling and communication across multiple people at one time. It saves time and emailing, which allows me to contribute time to other work duties. I like how I can give many options for scheduling and allow users to make multiple votes. Using this has improved meeting attendance as many users who select their availability are more likely to attend.
Cons
I wish some of the features were not paid only such as Zoom meeting option. I will like to be able to include the Zoom link within the Doodle poll.

Not as good as it used to be!
Reviewed on 2024/02/11
Pros
Doodle makes scheduling meetings with large groups and 1:1 appointments easy. It was the first group scheduling software I ever used and is still very popular and familiar with most folks.
Cons
Google calendar has really stepped up its game and enabled booking features that make it easy to set up group meetings and bookings. So for those who already use Google suite, it negates the need for using yet another 3rd party app like Doodle.
Also while Doodle is great, sometimes it's better to use when2meet, which allows you to enter your availability by highlighting a calendar, thus negating the need to select specific blocks of times and casting a wider net of availability.
Lastly, Doodle changed some of its features (eg limited the number of people who can sign up for a slot) or moved them to a paid plan that really restricted the range of its functions.

Good to try
Reviewed on 2023/09/06
Pros
As the leader of a non-profit organization, what I appreciate most about Doodle is its ability to streamline our scheduling process. With a diverse team of volunteers and stakeholders often spread across different locations and time zones, coordinating meetings used to be a challenge. Doodle has made it significantly easier to find suitable time slots for everyone, reducing the back-and-forth communication. This efficiency means we can spend more time focusing on our mission and less on administrative tasks
Cons
One aspect of Doodle that I found less favorable is its user interface when integrating with multiple calendars. Sometimes, it can be a bit unintuitive, and our less tech-savvy members occasionally struggle with it. Additionally, while Doodle offers many advanced features in its premium version, as a non-profit organization, we're always conscious of costs, and it would be great if some of those features were available in the free version to better support our cause.

Works great every time I'm supposed to book talks with a parent as a teacher.
Pros
Easy to use and works with a single link. I'm guessing that the one booking gets an email which is great.
Cons
Maybe the number of emails after every booking. Finding my way around the "weekly/montly schedule" was a little difficult as well. An easier way of seeing the time slots and which ones were available (after it had been sent out) could be improved.
