Video Sales Made Easy!
Reviewed on 2018/12/12
Pros
Vidyard offers several integrations to other sales platforms that has been extremely useful! Video selling is definitely taking off and Vidyard has been ahead of the game. The plug in allows you to make videos from anywhere online, which is great when you are on the company website for the prospect and are able to show personalization while creating your outreach video.
Cons
The videos are able to be edited but you can of course try again until you get it perfect!

Vidyard Works, But Lazy Programming Leaves Out Key Features

I'd gave the software a "C" rating. It's better than shooting with a camera and uploading video to YouTube or Vimeo, but extremely, and unnecessarily limited in what you can do to add production value to created videos.
Pros
Vidyard allows us to quickly and easily make a very simple video and upload it to embed in a blog or web page. The ability to add "hot" banners and CTAs directly to the video is great, as is the fact that it works with Hubspot, and we don't have to rely on YouTube for every video posting.
Cons
After reading the impersonal FAQ page stating that the software does not allow switching between camera and screen during recording, I used three third party programs to accomplish this feat myself, with no help from Vidyard. If I could do this with relative ease, and I'm not a programmer, then Vidyard is simply being lazy about programming. Presumably someone at the company is being paid to improve the software?

Remarkable Innovation in Video Recording Industry.

Pros
Day by day I'm becoming a big fan of it. It is easy to record a screen and share it everywhere. As a project manager often I have to instruct my team for project purposes. I would love to jump over it and make a quick video.
Cons
It's a cloud-based screen recorder, I didn't get any issue so far.

Although it has many powerful tools, my favorite part of vidyard is the chrome extension that allows me to record my screen and narrate instructions to explain clients how to create fixes online
Cons
To be honest it just hard coming up with something I dislike as I have had great experience so far

Vidyard is great. It allows us to connect with our customers more as well as understand our customers. It is great for training as well as promotions
Pros
There are a lot of things I like about Vidyard. Firstly the ease of use of recording your screen or yourself is quite simple. The second is the analytics. In today's competitive market, it is important to hear from our consumers and how they are interacting with us. Looking at how long they watch videos for, or how they respond to certain videos is important for our growth. Social sharing is also important for our team. Our team can easily send out email blasts for videos they have recorded straight from the website, or they can share through multiple social media platforms. Also, the chrome extension is very useful to create and send quick videos.
Cons
The only thing is that some of the more complex technical marketing ideas take too much technical knowledge and is hard to coordinate with the IT team to fulfill some of the more challenging requests. Otherwise it is a great product.

Pros
We're in the SaaS world and the people that we target are people don't always want to get on the phone unless they have to. So this is a great way to make emails more personable and allows us to not have such lengthy emails. I would recommend it to anyone that is in software sales.

Awesome platform for video!
Reviewed on 2018/09/26
Pros
Vidyard makes it easy to incorporate more video into your marketing efforts. We primarily use it as a sales enablement tool, allowing our reps to use GoVideo to embed their own personal videos into their outreach efforts. Also love the amount of insight and analytics we have access to when looking at video performance.
Cons
Tons of great features with Vidyard but it can sometimes get a little overwhelming. Would be great to see some of their features more simplified and better organized within the platform.

The Vidyard customer support is excellentand always there to help with questions.
Pros
Vidyard is such a simple tool to use. You can simply create in front of your pc and attach it to an email for your customer or prospect to open. It's a better way than you emails getting deleted when prospecting and has a great feedback tool to tell you when your prospect opens you Vidyard video and how much they watch or how many times they watch. Sales people get great feedback from their customers because it's new and different. You can even do a voice/video email with a powerpoint and send in an email.
Cons
I have no complaints at all. The software performs exactly the way they described. The software does not work by itself so you have to have your sales people use it as a tool.

Overall this tool has been incredible in helping towards my goals of connecting with more customers. I love it.
Pros
The fact that it is so easy to create and send short videos to clients has been a true boon to my ability to connect. Simple emails get ignored and deprioritized, but Vidyard videos almost always receive a positive response, or at least a response, which is what I'm looking for.
Cons
There isn't anything not to like. The video quality itself could maybe bet better, but I'd rather have a small, shareable file size.

Not sure why it's priced so high
Reviewed on 2018/10/03
Pros
It's a fairly easy tool to learn and it's now the go-to video tool for bigger brands like HubSpot. It also has a fair amount of marketing-friendly features, such as adding CTAs and whatnot.
Cons
The price is definitely not worth the features it delivers, in my opinion. What can you do in Vidyard that you can't do with some design skills and YouTube or Wistia? I'm not a fan.

Use this for sales and generating more traction. Hasn't really worked well for my team though.
Pros
Innovative. Great way to increase traction and get noticed.
Cons
Integration is bad. Attaching a video to an email doesn't show the email in the video itself, rather just a quick GIF, and the video opens in another tab. I find this very redundant.
