Microsoft SharePoint provides an easy out of the box solution for internal portals to share within your organization. If you are in Microsoft's eco system which most organizations are then it's easy to seamlessly integrate Sharepoint with everything else, share news, files, etc. in one place.

Customization level of Sharepoint is very lacking, as a web developer I wish there was more advanced options to customize the design, feel, look of your Sharepoint pages but it is fairly limited unfortunately.

In an organisation, it speeds up and improve work flows

I just realised that once a link is expired, there is no way I can link it back to the original file (of which I am the owner)

Ease of sharing files with external contacts in a secure way and changing permissions for colleagues.

Sometimes it takes a while to sync and I have found some files shared externally take a few attempts to grand access and required.

It is easy to navigate. It is easy to move a file between different SharePoints.

Nothing of note. It seems to fully meet our business needs.

Easy to share documents and files. Convenient and useful tool for any organization.

There is no con but setting up permission for each user is sometime confusing.

What i like most about SharePoint is the ease of use of the application, its uses in terms of file organizing and file sharing are excellent. Also the the ability to share files between Microsoft suite apps is very efficient.

There is not much it don't like about SharePoint since i started using it. and the only problem i had with it only related to internet connectivity.

Best solution to share files within a company , good level of access control , super productive features , integrates well into Microsoft ecosystem.

Office 365 users have full functionality when compared to users who use gmail or other emails.

SharePoint does everything I need to maintain and securely store my documents: backups, version control, search and retrieval.

I don't like that I have to page through my document libraries instead of being able to jump forward or backwards. For example, it would be good to jump to the documents by the first letter of the document's name.

1. Some customizations and integrations to Microsoft SharePoint are not easy to maneuver. This is something that Microsoft could look into

Ease of use and a relevant tool to share documents and presentations with Team members. The integration to O365 is simple and efficient.

Sometimes, the synchronization with local documents saved in the notebook can cause problems in document contents.

The software has helped me a lot in sharing important documents and submissions easily and can be accessed easily by the end party. Overall, the software is well balanced, and it has great features.

The software is excellent and meets most of my needs, but it could improve on some aspects, such as: 
The modified folder doesn't have any choices to save my previous settings for each folder. 
Another con is that if I open the notebook, there is no option to go back directly to the SharePoint interface. You need to go back to App Launcher and open from there, where it is very inconvenient if you are in a hurry to do things quickly.

The integration with all other microsoft 365 products is amazing. Because everything is connected, cross-refrences can be created and linked directly.
Furthermore, the link with entraid makes it possible to include a good authorization concept.

The admin interface is currently still a bit outdated, but it is not a blocker.

file structure is intuitive, easy to collaborate with users, easy to manage access

the need to use OneDrive to sync data can be a problem, especially with long file names and multiple layers of folders

Very well-known and powerful solution to quickly collaborate with team with many types of document accepted

Sometimes not really strait to the point and buggy when it's about saving.

SharePoint act as a one stop solution for hosting internal knowledge management tool. Its very easy to set up and can help design webpages as well with SharePoint Designer

Does require some technical skill to set up and maintain SharePoint

SharePoint is easy to use, particularly if you've been a Microsoft user before. I love that you can move a document to a new folder and the original link you may have shared will still work.

Sometimes hangs, which is frustrating. But is pretty reliable the vast majority of the time.
