Support for customers is excellent. I frequently need to troubleshoot small issues, and I can ask a service agent a question via chat and get an answer in real time. Being able to see all past sessions is good for record keeping and history of payments from families. Previously we had paper registrations so this was a big improvement in handwriting legibility, and having all information in one accessible place.
The fees could be lower. However you can negotiate the transaction fee and payment frequency with the vendor depending on a number of factors, i.e. number of registrations, etc.
I have been with is for so long because they are worth the time and the money. People use their software to sign up for all sorts of things, so they are used to the formatting.
I have been using Active's summer camp registration software for a bakers dozen years. It is intuitive, its simple to use, its easy to create forms, and manage yourself. I love it. Always have.
Sometimes, tho rare, it will be tough to pull the financial information I need but luckily customer service is right there with you to help
