Pros
I love how customizable it is. It helps me manage both the candidate and client facing side of the business and customize almost any pipeline and report.
Cons
Since there are so many different facets, it took a bit longer to get up to speed on the product, but once I did, its very user intuitive. Also, the mobile app needs more work to get it to where the desktop product is.

It's a clean interface with an efficient workflow. The search features are robust, and tools like emailing and texting integrate seamlessly within the product. I also like how companies, positions, and contacts are interconnected.
Cons
They need to improve the workflow and usability to better support recruiters, account managers, and salespeople. Not that is bad but just needs updating.

Overall positive. Took a while to get up to speed. Sales person didn’t explain things are factual as they are. Especially the hands on training part. She left out that the hands on training would be one hour per week for 12 weeks and the trainer didn’t do the work they walked me through how to do it. Delayed our launch schedule tremendously. But overall good after the first three months of confusion.
Pros
The candidate tracker flow and ability to customize our own steps and sequences (for the most part). Cost is a big benefit as well.
Cons
Small glitches with applications coming in without contact info. Not all file types accepted as resume upload. Not having a true sourcing database without purchasing other extensions onto it. Love the system but sales person over sold the product and then never answers emails back but before we purchased she contacted us non stop. Not a good feeling. Overall good.

Crelate is the fourth system I have had to adapt to during the past 16 years. I was initially aprehensive --something new -- but quickly found Crelate to be user friendly and much better than our former system. In face, I have tracked my productivity and it is much improved with Crelate.
Pros
Crelate works with me --I don't become "tired" navigating the system. The flow causes me to believe that people who have actualy worked in my field helped design this system.
Cons
Still fairly new with the system -- While I don't consider myself, "Mr. Crelate" --and I haven't taken full advantage of all capabilities, At this point I have no major complaints.

Selecting Crelate was a great decision that we made when we started the company. System conversions can be very disruptive but having one ATS all along that develops as you do has been super helpful.
Pros
Crelate is very intuitive and user friendly.
Cost is reasonable compared to other similar applicant tracking systems.
What I like best is that they are continuously making upgrades and improvements which improve functionality without slowing you down.
Cons
We have been using it for 8 years and it really has worked out great for us. My only regret is that I don't maximize all of it's functionality. But that's more a factor of running a busy desk as opposed to anything negative about Crelate.

It has been extremely positive. So much so I increased my licenses and signed a multi-year agreement with them as I have no plans of switching products anytime soon.
Pros
Crelate is extremely user, friendly. I have used multiple different ATS/CRM programs throughout my career and they do not company to Crelate. The functionality and ability to do so much while in the system make it worth it's weight in gold!
Cons
I personally do not have any Cons at this time. My team loves it and enjoys using it.

Bullhorn can be extremely complex and has a higher price point. After doing a few demo's with Crelate, I felt it was a lot more user friendly and better pricing with more features than Bullhorn.Switched From

I think Crelate is an okay alternative to Avionte, but its cluttered setup makes it difficult to adapt to.
Pros
Mass emails, bulk texts, and easily access templates for all is perfect. The map options when doing radius searches of clients or candidates is great once you figure out how to access it.
Cons
I had the activity feed and wish I could remove it or filter it so I only see my activity. The cluttered appearance of the app is frustrating as well, making it hard to access when using a smaller screen. Ring Central isn't integrated properly and can be unresponsive or will ring at random when no calls are coming in. RC isn't very accessible friendly within Crelate and is easier to use outside of the browser, but you're still getting duplicate calls/text/notifications from all. The radius search is complicated to access and should be available within a list - it's frustrating to have to double back multiple times to get back to the list I was on. Candidate updates and movement on lists is frustrating - I'm making calls to 150+ people and any updates made to a candidate profile will remove them to another portion of the list which can make tracking who I've called while I'm making the calls very complicated. Imported candidates often have missing information despite it being clearly noted on their resume. Resume imports have so many errors it's often easier to import manually. Past jobs import as being current and there doesn't seem to be rhyme or reason to it. Your Chrome extension isn't great - I'll try to import a LinkedIn profile and the current employment dates disappear when I try to select the employer (because Crelate NEVER pulls that information correctly).

In terms of a CRM, Crelate lacks advanced search and sort capabilities. In certain areas, you can only sort lists of clients and contacts by most recent date. Their mass email limits are really oppressive, and selecting lists to mass email is difficult. They also created a TON of duplicates during our data integration process. We had to do a lot of manual work to categorize sales contacts vs candidates. I can't get a good call flow because every time I log an activity on a sales contact, the entire list re-sorts by most recent activity date. I then have to find where I left off, which can be hundreds of rows down by that point. Creating lists is aggravating because I can only add sales contacts to email campaigns in batches of 100, and even then, there is a bug that keeps showing the original quantity of contacts from the list, so I can't tell how many more times I need to click to the next page and add the next 100 sales contacts.
Pros
It integrates pretty well with RingCentral for click-to-dial
Cons
During our demo process, we were told by two people that we can send an unlimited number of emails a day. They don't tell you that they mean an unlimited number of INDIVIDUAL one-off emails. I told them the quantity of emails I need to send on a daily/weekly basis and they said they can handle it. This was untrue.

Pros
I love the ability to create sequences and tasks to better track my work. I also love the ability to send out mass campaigns. Being able to create opportunities and pipelines within each opportunity w/ a bit of modifications is also really good to have.
Cons
Better automation and higher volume for bulk texts. Only being able to send 25 bulk texts at a time (I'm used to being able to send 100 at a time) has really been a time suck for me, especially being in high volume recruiting. It takes 2 minutes for each bulk to go through as well. I also think that there should be an option for automated texts on sequences - the ability to create a sequence is grate, but having to wait for the sequence to refresh to the next step and then manually hit SEND for each text step of a sequence is an EXTREMELY tedious task! I also find it a bit frustrating that I cannot add an image in my email campaign as easily as I can in sending an email manually - it does not seem to work as well in that regard. It would also be nice to not have a limit for sequences as I create them for my call blocks and have to deactivate one to be able to create another at this point in time - even though we are a tiny team, we are a team with a lot of tasks! I also think there should be an option to mute the RingCentral incoming calls - while Google Chrome is the preferred browser, I find myself using Firefox because I can easily mute tabs vs having to mute the whole site on chrome. I always have more than one tab open, so if I am taking a call and another call is incoming, it will ring in Chrome, but in Firefox, I can simply mute the tabs that I am not taking calls on and there is no ringing.

As the Director of Research, I love how customizable and data-driven everything is. Unbelievable how much I can learn from any given profile at a macro perspective. The Crelate support team is always helpful, responsive, and pays attention to customer feedback! I get so excited every time there's a software update.
Cons
I'd love to have more robust applicant intake capabilities...I wish we could set the application to have certain questions that when answered a certain way trigger an automated rejection email to the applicant. It would be nice to be able to pin Ring Central texts. I also use a lot of saved searches to maintain clean data in our system and they can be hard to find sometimes. I'd love to be able to 'type to find' a saved search I'm looking for.

It's been a journey working with Crelate. There have been some bumps in the road, but overall, Crelate is interested in providing a great experience for EGA.
Pros
Crelate is a user friendly ATS that has some nice Onboarding features that compliment the system and its functionality as Applicants transition into Candidates and eventually Employees. The upgrades that are required to gain access to some of these features are not always worth the cost, but Crelate has been willing to work with our organization to get us where we need to be. As a Health Care staffing agency who have mostly government contracts, we are unique within the industry. Crelate as an organization has been receptive to EGA's feedback and willing to make improvement to the system that will benefit all who are using Crelate as an ATS with Onboarding.
Cons
The tier pricing structure for adding customizable features such as Activities, Activity Forms, Core Record Fields (Opportunities and Contacts), Document Labels, etc. make the pricing pretty unreasonable for our particular organization. As an organization who is accredited by the Joint Commission, maintaining compliance through our processes and data collection is imperative. As a unique entity working with government clients, it is sometimes difficult to track Contracts, which may have multiple facilities we may already be working with. Crelate is not built to be able to see the true contract rollup since only one customer can be a parent company.

Our Users prefer Crelate over our previous well know ATS. As an Administrator, my experience has been very positive and I appreciate the excellent customer service.
Pros
Excellent levels of support that are easy to access. Crelate is intuitive and easy to use for both Admin and Users.
Cons
Basic performance reports are easy to setup. Detailed reports required assistance from the helpdesk.

The team was great when it came to get plantation support and advising me on other features and improvements.
Pros
The most important part of the program is, it allows you to do almost all of your work within the program. It allows you to post jobs, contact candidates, and track candidates all in one place. It also integrates with LinkedIn and it’s easy to get Candidates from Linkedin.
Cons
There are a lot of customizations, so you really need to rely on your implementation team.
