I think it's a great product, but is a work in progress. I can't imagine working without it, but...

I think it's a great product, but is a work in progress. I can't imagine working without it, but some days it is a hassle. When updates are done, it makes the site unusable. I recommend having a backup site that works the same as the current updated version of Matrix. When updating to a newer version, you should direct the link to the website to the backup until the newer version is updated.

Pros

I really like being able to handle my clients information easily. If they call, I can look stuff up very fast and determine our last conversation and the steps moving forward.

Cons

There are times where things don't work as efficient as I would think. I think the box on the left for managing tasks, should be able to be minimized when working on something. I don't think it needs to be open all the time. I think the quotes done on ITC should automatically transfer to the Matrix when quoted and marked under "Quote Received" or something showing the notes from ITC. I think when I need to speak to someone at Matrix, it should be easier to get ahold of someone. I asked twice in two different ways for a call regarding the steps to upgrading to a higher tier and no one called or emailed me back. When I am putting in a new client, a popup will say "there may be another client in the system with this info" but it doesn't tell who it is. I think it should. I should be able to text and email people directly from their profile and have it show up on Notes tab or a new tab labeled emails/texts.

Overall my experience has been great with the system. It has taken a little time and practice to really get comfortable with the system but any time I've had to reach out to customer service with an issue, they have been very quick to assist and usually are able to resolve any issue I have.

Pros

This system offers a lot of great features to help with ease day to day tasks and offers a lot of great management and marketing functions. I like how you have the ability to integrate the system with other systems we use day to day to help eliminate extra work and making things more streamline. The email blasts are a great marketing features to use and helps with prospecting. I also like the ability to track and manage employee sales and commissions. I also really like the availability of training videos on the site.

Cons

It can be very complex with the set up of the system and really getting familiar with all of the features offered on the site and to really get the most out of what's offered.

Tool is useful, Training about its features or best practices should help its overall experience, as of now, for me its a get to know tool. Suggestion, Training videos must be updated + a new stream of videos not for training, but best practices, similar to what used to be done with Within the Matrix videos, but with based on common best practices like reporting combinations or automated marketing recommendations to light up the creativity on the end user's needs.

Pros

Initial Price vs benefit was great. As it has evolved, new features have come handy. Visual Agent / Automatic Marketing is a time saver big time, as long as its correctly set up. When not properly setup, lots of complains can come our way.

Cons

Lots of updates and new features were being released, not much training to keep us up with them. We had to learn most of them by Try & error, and we may still not have mastered all features. It lacks of some preset templates for agents / mangers / CSR based on most common configurations (best practices) with the option to add or remove permissions.
We should be able to modify what the dashboard view and source of information, currently does not give information as relevant as expected.
Reports name and descriptions are really confusing and set expectations that are not met by them.

Great system and great service with good helpful employees. Its not a big giant system just a good easy to use system that does most task a smaller agency would need.'

Pros

I like its simplicity however some of that has gone away as its grown. its a great digital file cabinet for clients files. Its priced great. It should be the first management system used by any new agency.

Cons

new updates are not great. they add extra steps. The new task system isn't as good as the prior version, the new notes updates now has extra required fields and extra steps. I really wish the downloads sysem had an undo button.

We like how easy it is to access our customers information. It's the constant changes we dislike...

We like how easy it is to access our customers information. It's the constant changes we dislike immensely. Many times your system is down to make the changes we don't even want. For instance a change that was recently made is that we have to login to the system every 20 minutes?! It's awful. I have appointments every thirty minutes for two months in our busy season. Do you have any idea how many times I will have to login within that 45 day period?!?? I am in the corner office where no one has access to my computer. We should be able to turn off that new awful feature. As a new owner of an agency I am 100% for change, but only if it makes things better. Your changes often make my (and my agents) work life much harder.

Pros

I like that we have quick and easy access to our 2,000 customers without having to pull a file out of a cabinet.

Cons

I hate that the product is made for car insurance, which we do not sell. I have repeatedly asked if we could change the driver's license number to Medicare number, which is a solid No. We were told instead to put it in a custom field, which we did. This week that field disappeared. I had to leave messages and call back many times before someone would actually talk to me about it. When they did they said it would be fixed the next day as they can no longer make changes immediately. That gave us two entire days with no access to our customer's Medicare numbers. It caused massive problems.

Useless product that doesn't do what it is supposed to do

This entire experience has been awful. It took 2 months to even get a response from the transition...

This entire experience has been awful. It took 2 months to even get a response from the transition team to import information. After 5 months, my information still had not been fully imported, none of my contacts had been brought over.
It also took 5 months to get the reports showing what I owe the carriers to come out accurately because I was mis-trained! I was told to put information in incorrect fields over and over.
The commission reports don't work accurately because the employee commission structures only apply to pure premiums from the carriers. They don't apply to endorsements, additional fees or broker fees. A year in and I am still using my own excel spreadsheet because of their system is a mess.
Acord forms are a disaster. Information doesn't carry over from one screen to the next and that is if the Acord screen will even open up! Limits don't carry over, NAIC numbers that are entered are associated with old companies and out of date, if you have a client with an ampersand sign in their name, be prepared to correct that every time as well because the system doesn't recognize the actual sign...."&" instead it spells it out.
This has been an absolutely awful experience. Even after getting on the phone with the powers-that-be and showing the systems failures, nothing happens. They say things like the ampersan sign issue is an easy fix, but then it still doesn't get fixed. They do an update and it crashes the system. . . TERRIBLE SYSTEM

It's good as a crm and that is it, it cannot create acords, it doesn't pull info to create accurate reports......

Cons

IT DOESN'T WORK! The system crashes constantly. In the past week the system has gone down twice! last week for 2 1/2 hours starting at 2:30 in the afternoon - middle of peak production time. Yesterday it crashed again around 2:30 again. We could log in, but couldn't see policy info, contacts, tasks, attachments or acords. now here it is, 8:45 the following morning, and we STILL cannot make acords. It's a joke of a system. They will oversell you, misguide you and mis-train you. DON'T US E IT

Instead of an improvement from Insurance Pro as we were told, it's simply causing so much more work...

Instead of an improvement from Insurance Pro as we were told, it's simply causing so much more work that I personally think it's an inferior product. I will have to pull up every active policy, update the dates of birth, plug in the coverages and double check to insure the rest of the data transferred correctly. For a client with multiple policies I have to search the list of ALL their policies to find the ONE that needed updated. Unfortunately we're stuck with it, because we trusted Insurance Pro and didn't request a demo, we simply signed the agreement and now are locked in to a one year agreement for an inadequate program.

Pros

Tech support and customer service were both great - and that's good because you WILL need tech support!

Cons

We were upgraded from Insurance Pro to Agency Matrix by Zywave, and having been extremely please with Insurance Pro we did NOT request a demo - VERY BIG MISTAKE!
During the conversion we found several problems:
It did NOT bring in policy coverages when transferring to Agency Matrix.
It DID change every date of birth in all files to Jan 1, 1901.
I does NOT import coverage amounts to accord forms-with insurance pro we loaded the acord form, the coverage amounts were on the form as soon as it loaded.
With Insurance Pro I searched a policy number and got that individual policy. With Agency Matrix I type in the same policy number and get EVERY POLICY under that client name (Client in question is a mobile home dealer with about 200 active policies, I have to dig through ALL of them to find the one that needs input!)

Pros

Ease of use. Ease of figuring out how to use it. Training videos which are short and effective.

Cons

Nothing. Whenever we have come across a problem or an opportunity to grow, the staff have involved the developers and pivoted in a way I have never seen before, making it almost a custom solution. But the truth is, as they realize, if one agency is having trouble with something, so are others. And so they have made tweaks here and there over the years that have made this THE best agency mgt software on the market. And the price, you can't beat that either for what you get. We're here for life.

I have been using Agency Matrix maybe like the past 15 years or more, I was employed and that company was using this system, then I went to work for a different company, they were using a difficult software with many steps just to add a simple information , wasting your time when you need to do it in hurry, so I recommended to switch to Agency Matrix , the difference was big everybody was so happy with the change.
Then just recently I open my own business, I knew what I needed to, I set it up right away .

Pros

I really would like to recommend anyone who has the need to keep your daily track of all your information , this program is very useful , I have been using Agency Matrix for a very long time, never had any issues with it.
The program is easy to understand.

Cons

I don't have any opinion that I think is wrong with the system .

Pros

I have used this software for almost 10 years. I keep track of my clients data, policies, etc.
I travel often so having the online platform is an excellent way to keep in touch with clients no matter where I am.
I have been very happy with this products (as proven by my 10 year experience with it)

Cons

Not crazy about how the info lays out on the screen. It may be my resolution, by I would like to see all the home screen boxes without scrolling

i have an error that pops up when I want to scan directly to a persons file. I have to ok it a couple of times before it will actually scan so it takes alot of unnecessary time and we are a very busy office.

The initial set up can be cumbersome. It is tedious to enter carrier names, addresses, naic numbers, etc

The easy of imputing Information is great. Retrieving the information is not as easy.

Cons

I think most people would be happy with this product if support for specific services. For example accounting, commissions, reports after about six months it would be great.

[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], our trainer, was wonderful. Our transition was slow, but she was patient and super helpful. Any time I have had to call for support, everyone has been very helpful and courteous.

Pros

Ability to keep all customer data, accounting, commissions in one program and variety of reports and correspondence options.

Cons

No real cons once we got everyone trained.

The best investment to streamline our work

Pros

We all like Agency Matrix, it is a very useful tool for our work

Cons

Regarding the last update, I don't like that the program closes very quickly, it should have more time online
