ShippingEasy is made for the online seller and eCommerce business that wants to automate and remove the pain from a lot of back-end fulfillment processes like printing accurate shipping labels, printing labels in batches, applying shipping rules to assign postage to common order types, automatically sending tracking status emails to customers, simplifying the returns process, managing inventory, and much more.

ShippingEasy integrates with the platforms you sell online and downloads orders instantly, enabling them to be processed quickly and accurately, automatically posting order status back to those platforms once an order is fulfilled. Platforms include, but are not limited to, places like Amazon, eBay, Shopify, Bigcommerce, Volusion, Paypal, and many more.

Overall, ShippingEasy is a powerful software solution that can help businesses of all sizes manage and optimize their shipping processes. Its wide range of shipping options and customizable features make it a valuable tool for improving shipping efficiency and tracking shipments. However, its cost and limited support may be drawbacks for some users.

Pros

ShippingEasy supports a variety of shipping carriers, including USPS, UPS, and FedEx, making it easy for us to find the best shipping options for our needs. They offers customizable options that allow us to tailor the solution to our specific needs. It also can help us streamline our shipping processes and improve efficiency, leading to increased productivity and cost savings. Advance Tracking is a great feature provided by ShippingEasy. We were able to track our shipments and stay updated on their status.

Cons

Some of our users have reported that ShippingEasy's customer support is limited and may not always be available when they needed.

Shipping Easy really is the easiest

the integrations with most major shopping carts covers 99% of what I need. I have 1 client using Ultracart that has to do a .csv file for me every day, but it works well enough. everything else aside from the reporting that I am missing gets the job done.

Pros

Very intuitive UI and easy for my employees and clients to use with very little learning curve.

Cons

the maid drawback is there is some report functionality missing that would make my job a lot easier when it comes to invoicing my clients. I have asked about different things a few times and pretty much get the same answer that it is something being considered as a future enhancement, but it never seems to come.

Shipstation is very limited and the inventory management component is downright awful. 3pl central is a terrible platform that is very outdated, very overpriced, and not user friendly at all. Also looked at building a platform in house and a couple of other options, but SE provided the best functionality and value combination.

It saves time but it needs work, but it seems it is not in their plans to revamp it

Pros

Paste and copy addresses to make labels right away, ability to import / sync records. Other features to automatize the process such as import rules, etc.

Cons

The system has 2 major flaws that we have brought to the attention of ShippingEasy but it seems that is not something that is in the works:

1. You cannot do multiple packages. If an order has more than 1 package you can't do it without having to duplicate the shipment for each label. This is an inconvenience and when we have multiple packages we just make them in FedEx directly.

2. Their address verification for Residential / Commercial is linked to USPS not to FedEx. USPS does not charge differently for Residential / Commercial and their methods are different than FedEx so we found out that we were paying more money because ShippingEasy will assign orders to be residential when they were not. This is a major flaw because it creates double work to verify addresses, at that time we just can do it in FedEx.

Though, we're sorry to read that you experienced difficulty with the residential/commercial verification and multi-box shipments for FedEx. In regards to the multi-box shipments, there may have been some confusion on exactly what you were looking for as we do support multiple package shipments for both FedEx and UPS (the process for USPS shipments is duplicating like you mentioned). Excellent up time (upwards of 98% most of the time). Great support staff, easy to work with and they ACTUALLY resolves issues! Go figure!! (Volusion delusion). Great GUI makes workflow a snap.

Pros

The flexibility and functionality are phenomenal. It's great to have a "hub" where both order fulfillment and marketing can happen in one place! Leaves our e-commerce platform (volusion) in the dust!

Cons

HTML editing and graphical verification (switching back and forth) of e-mail newsletters is limited which makes it very frustrating, especially when one wants to use font sizes larger than "72" or make inter-document hyperlinks for starters. I hope these features will be added soon!

Also, the ability to cancel or recall e-mail campaigns within say 30 mins, would be very helpful. Sometime you think it's perfect, hit the send button, and see the e-mail at your inbox (for review) and see a problem than you can't fix!!

We use ShippingEasy for our shipping across the nation for over 3 years. We love that they continue to improve the program as well as introduce new items at reasonable prices.

Pros

I love that ShippingEasy has a CRM integrated with the shipping. Which is constantly being updated to make the program better. Creating Marketing campaigns are easy and selecting which customers get which email and when, you're able to get very specific. Send out a two week email to make sure customers received the correct order and request for reviews. Very Easy.

Cons

To select customers for a specific reason for an email campaign you have to make a list first and save it before sending the campaign.
