About Schedulefly
Schedulefly is a staff scheduling app and communication tool designed specifically for the restaurant industry. Suitable for restaurants of any size, Schedulefly's capabilities include employee scheduling, forecasting, messaging, job-posting and information storage.
As well as desktop availability, Schedulefly is available to staff on mobile devices. Schedulefly encourages communication between restaurant managers and employees with a built-in message wall, which can be used to share important updates. Daily crib-sheet and scheduled reminders arrive via email each day. Time-off and shift-trade requests can be managed remotely and restaurant owners or managers can track labor cost, payroll, shift trading, and more.
Cloud storage enables users to keep track of important paperwork, staff information, and restaurant policies, making them available to staff at any time. The Schedulefly software also includes a Job-Post tool to assist with hiring and keeping track of resumes. The dashboard provides staff with an overview of their schedule for the week, including shift details such as times and locations.

Pros
It works, it's consistent, it eliminates so many unnecessary miscommunications, it empowers our crew and allows flexibility with scheduling across the board, whilst strengthening the teamwork mentality. It keep everyone accountable and connected without being invasive. The Schedule Fly crew are committed to their product and live it through their customer support as well as involvement in the restaurant industry as a whole.
Cons
Haven't found one yet. It is simplistic, functional and thorough by design, happy customer for several years now.

Our overall experience with Schedulefly has been absolutely fabulous! The support we receive from the Schedulefly team is amazing. They are always on top of everything and are super fast to take care of our needs.
Pros
Schedulefly meets all of the scheduling needs for our company. We currently have 11 units across 4 different brands and it works great for all of them. It is easy to manage from adding employees to creating schedules. You can customize it to meet your needs so you get everything you want. The shift exchange, request off, and other features are very useful and easy to use for both employees and managers. The labor management tools and reporting are fantastic and have been a crazy useful tool when it comes to training our managers how to control their labor and scheduling.
Cons
I can't think of a single thing that I don't like about Schedulefly.

One of our department heads had experience with this software from another job, and he was allowed to use it at our venue although the rest of our team uses Homebase.
That manager obviously loved Schedulefly, but the rest of our department heads did not prefer Schedulefly.
The manager has since moved away and we will be discontinuing the use of Schedulefly altogether.
Pros
This is a very stripped down scheduling solution with a low-tech feel.
I love the daily crib-sheet emails, showing the scheduled staff in a very simple text-based format.
I think that the way employees can be grouped by the roles they fill is much more intuitive and user friendly than with other solutions like T-Sheets or Homebase.
I like that the cost is not based on the number of active users.
Cons
Because our theater uses project-based cost accounting, it's frustrating that I cannot assign a customer or job code to a given shift.
I prefer a solution with an integrated time-clock function. I think you can get a time clock with schedulefly, but it comes at an additional charge.

Pros
I have used Schedulefly multiple times in different cafes I have managed. The consistency, reliability, simplicity, and ease of use made me a fan and now I recommend them to all my consulting clients.
Cons
Nothing really comes to mind to be honest.
