Klipboard Overview

Available on web dashboard, iPad, android mobile and iPhone, Klipboard gives you everything you need to complete a task on the move or in the field. Receive scheduled and unscheduled tasks sent from the office, view client details, location maps and notifications for these tasks. Previous documents associated with the task can be viewed and data capture is simple and easy, whether you are online or offline. Collect images and signatures and once completed, tasks are sent back to the office in one quick sync to be automated into a PDF for your records and to send to customers. Klipboard’s easy to use app gives you all this at your fingertips, making completion of your tasks a simple and easy process, no more paper!

Klipboard allows for the creation of any bespoke forms or reports for any type of task or job, which can then be allocated to the mobile worker, either as a scheduled or unscheduled task. The informative stats on the web dashboard, gives total oversight and management of a company's mobile workforce and provides real time insight into the business performance.

Once a task has been allocated to an employee, it can be viewed and completed on their mobile or tablet, even when offline. Mobile workers can receive client details, previous customer documents, location mapping and workflow forms with each task and can then capture required data, along with image and signatures.

The completed task can then be sent to the office in real time for review to either be re-allocated or completed. Once the task is completed, it will be stored in secure cloud storage and can be stylised to exact requirements to share by CSV or PDF to clients.

The result is a platform which connects the office, mobile workers and customers together while improving organisational productivity and efficiency.

Altogether a good experience, a few problems but the team are quick to resolve

Saves us admin time, we now work paper free, we have improved the quality of service we deliver to our clients.

Pros

Compared to how we use to do business, klipboard has enabled us to vastly improve the quality of service we deliver to our clients while reducing the admin time we used to waste with all the paperwork.

Cons

There are a few teething problems, little things like a specific process to uploading the photos which if we don't follow, can cause the app to crash meaning we lose our work and have to start again.

We believe you use the iPad app in the field and we understand it has crashed a couple of times for you during the image capture process. This can be common in apps however, we work hard to ensure we respond to all requests. Our recently released iPhone and Android app that uses the latest technology for robustness and stability, can be availed of by your team if you wish, however, we are in the midst of testing a new iPad app which we hope to release Feb 2018 which means you will have the same stability as the iPhone and Android users. Saved on time and money

Pros

The fact I could make the sheets as easy as possible for the tablet users, to avoid confusion or complication, with the reports as the end still coming out in a very professional PDF that I have designed myself.
I also like the fact that you can reassign the tasks to various people if the work flows need to be edited so that if something minor needs to be changed then it doesn't have to be reassigned to the engineer again.
But most of all, the amount of time we save using Klipboard is invaluable. We where spending on average 4 hours retyping each report now we are spending 10 minutes checking the sheets, and then just have to download the PDF's and put them together as one PDF which takes 20 minutes. This means we have more people that are able to go to site instead of sitting in the office.

Cons

The only thing I would change is being able to add more work flows into an overall report/task. Other than that I think all of the features are great, and this part of the process only adds on a little bit of time to the overall process, so not a massive issue.

Pros

Klipboard has allowed us to develop a range of mobile report templates for our water and wastewater treatment programs. These templates are really easy to complete on the mobile app out on site and speeds up our reporting to our customers. I like how our reports are completed on the mobile app using simple text entry and dropdown selections but are then outputted in a PDF style exactly as we need them. The system has also helped with us meeting compliance and ensuring we have history of all the work completed for each of our customers. We have teams that work all over the UK so it has made it more efficient for scheduling the work to them as well as getting the information back, removing all the old manual paper processes we had. The support and help with setup has been fantastic since the beginning.

Cons

It will take me sometime to get use to using the workflow generator for creating new form templates.

Cons

I think the app could do with more complex functionalities to make procedures easier for the end user.
