Talisma is a complete CRM platform that gathers marketing and sales tools in a unique place to monitor and improve customer experience. The solution is available on-premise, hosted or hybrid.

Talisma comes with contact & lead management features to automate sales activities. Sales teams can access and edit customer information, schedule meetings and leverage contact history to build sales plans. With Talisma, managers are able to analyze the sales pipeline and forecast revenue with tracking tools.

Design personalized traditional & digital marketing campaigns with Talisma targeting and automation tools. The software enables performance, costs and ROI tracking of each campaign with visual workflow analytics. Service agents can also use Talisma's communication tools to interact with customers by email, phone, instant messaging, etc. The software provides a cohesive view of all customer communications across every channel with unified records and reports.

Talisma comes with Business Intelligence features (dashboards, data manipulation, graphs, etc.) to provide actionnable insights from sales and marekting data, identify trends and improve processes.

    Communicating essential information to large groups of people, and being able to quickly gather information about what a student had been told by various members of the admissions staff made communicating consistently a breeze.

    Pros

    It is incredibly easy to see what has been said to someone who contacts you by going to their site profile. It was also an essential tool in our office for event registrations. Talisma makes life so easy. Being able to assign interactions to specific staff members also makes communicating consistently easy. As an administrator, I could make sure there was one "go-to" contact for each type of interaction so that communication was consistent.

    Cons

    Vigilance does need to be exercised if someone will e-mail you with multiple accounts. Linking up information from multiple users can be a bit time-consuming.

    If you are a team that has lots of communications, you should be using a CRM! Especially like Talisma. Being able to see past cases has helped a lot with conversations when folks contact you again, but more importantly, being able to see the case loads of each staff member has helped us advocate for more staff and compensation.

    Pros

    Talisma is a great CRM. I think the interface has improved significantly since I began to use it earlier on in my higher education career. It has a bit of a learning curve to learn at first, but eventually we rolled it out to our student workers as well! They would log calls, emails and other leads. IT made it so much more effective to analyze their value in the office and the work we all did to recruit the next class!

    Cons

    It just has a bit of a learning curve, but what doesnt! I think it took me a good two months to feel really comfortable with it and now I'm the trainer for our team!

    Super hard to learn and use, and very outdated CRM

    When I worked on a team using Talisma, we were completely reliant on our database manager to do almost 100% of our database related work. No one else on the team could even figure out how to run reports. I absolutely do not recommend it! Although I believe it is being discontinued.

    Very little - the product is overwhelming and incredibly difficult to use.

    It's been almost 5 years working with Talimsa, we just upgraded to version 10 which is way better, at the beginning was hard to move from access to this CRM but at the end has many many helpful tools to keep data and track of everything in our company

    Database administrator at a Big 10 school

    Pros

    Call tracking and e-mail flow. They make tracking inbound and outbound correspondence with prospective students very simple and clear.

    Cons

    Not user friendly. There is a large learning curve. The training videos were extremely simple and high-level and not exactly "real world" training--more of a glossary to understand the terminology.
