Capabiliti Overview

What is Capabiliti?

Capabiliti is a mobile-first training, assessment and engagement platform that is used by companies of all sizes to deliver trainings across geographies, at any scale and complexity, on any device, using any format of content.

Start with creating a training or assessment by uploading an existing video, PPT, PDF or other types of content and watch it turn into a powerful, interactive training in minutes. Once the training courses are ready, users can be added manually or via bulk user upload through a CSV file.

Courses can be assigned to specific users in a list. Users can also set a start and end date, along with a minimum passing grade, among other tweaks and preferences.

Once users are assigned their training courses, they will be able to complete them on any of their web or mobile devices. Capabiliti app is available at the Apple App Store and Android Play Store, and can be completely white-labelled in a DIY fashion.

Once users start consuming and completing training programs, their progress can be viewed at individual, team, geography and organizational levels. Another important feature of Capabiliti is that users do not have to be connected to the internet at all times to complete their training courses, or while providing their inputs in assessments.

Capabiliti saves us a lot of time and legwork

We usually get a LOT of interest from applicants from across the country. Capabiliti helps us reach out to all of them, and systematically shortlist them based on our requirements. I personally used to hate missing out on great candidates just because of availability or logistical issues. Now all that is gone. Also, the reports we get from its dashboard are also easily available in our HRIS, so that works out nicely with us.

As a IT consultant, I was part of the team that managed the deployment of Capability Platform and on-boarding of 12K employees for a Retail Giant. Apart from zeroing in on Capabiliti and finalising the contract, we had little role to play in the deployment process, primarily because the deployment did not involve IT. The fact that there was no interference / involvement of Client's IT Dept, speaks volumes about their platform. Highly recommended for organisations where IT Department's bandwidth is craved for. The customer support, agility, turn around time - everything was a great add on as well but what blew us and the client apart was their Zero-IT-Involvement-Approach.

I do not know of many products that do this, especially at this price point. I don't think there are any cons.

The App is brilliant scores great in terms of user-friendly interface and security. But what's more importantly appeal me the scope for customization.

Pros

In this field of HR, after working in two extremely different set of Organizations in two very different industry, I can feel the differentiation in needs of workforce in each of them. Generally, we chose to replicate technology that is proven at one place. Either because of lack of understanding or because of lack of customized option. GetApp ensure that at least technology support for customization is available to HR professionals and help increase the effectiveness of initiatives. You can use it at any scale and any device. Really recommend others to try it!!!

Cons

Have not yet come across any. The first level interaction is really great!
