The all-in-one transportation management system is offered by Canada-based Axon Development Corporation which develops software primarily for the transportation industry and caters for clients across North America.
Axon Software offers an intuitive interface wherein users can track orders & equipment on a live map in real time. Axon Software's dispatch feature allows users to track the exact location of trucks on the road; check the availability of drivers and share order pickup & drop locations with them. It offers integrated accounting features that allow clients to record their financial statements and generate invoices for work orders, purchase orders, tickets and bills. Users can also subscribe to the add-on payroll management solution through which they can manage payroll for drivers and generate paychecks with monthly statements.
Axon Software supports customizable reporting functionality with which a business can customize reports according to specific standards and leverage the benefits of pre-built standard templates available within the solution. Users can generate daily summary reports and prepare reports on demand based on the custom fields selected. Each generated report is automatically stored in the report section and can be exported into multiple formats.
Axon Software offers a trucking link mobile app for iPhone, iPad, Android and Blackberry based smartphones. Some of its customers are JAT Brokerage, Heavy Weight Enterprise, Renaissance Transport and Charles Diaz Trucking.

Axon has everything. It is an accounting program with payroll and trucking integrated all into one....
Axon has everything. It is an accounting program with payroll and trucking integrated all into one. You can add pc miler and track miles and fuel and the software will do all your reports for Ifta instantly. Time saver, that's for sure. If you are in the trucking business, Axon is by far the program for you. The support is also great. Super friendly techs that respond quickly to your needs, and if you are new to Axon, they have training! Honestly, why would you even consider another program?
Pros
There are not enough great things I could say about Axon! The best feature I would say is how user friendly it is. I have used many accounting programs but they don't even begin to compare to Axon. You can see anything you want, dig deeper and deeper from any screen.
Cons
Oh boy, tough question...I would have to say maybe the price. It can be costly, but in my opinion absolutely worth it. The value for your money is astounding. I have not begun to scratch the surface of Axon's capabilities and find it exciting to use everyday and learn something new.

Seeing trucks in real time gave us a sense of knowing and witnessing the jobs getting done. This software brought the whole team together.
Pros
We has 24/7 access to where each truck is at. This helped ensure timely deliveries. We could even see how fast the truck was driving and taking turns. This helped us teach how best to drive to increase lifetime of the truck and tires. We were also able to notice if there was any bottlenecks or traffic causing deliveries to be delayed.
Cons
A huge learning curve. Reports are kinda hard to import to excel.

Overview of loads was good. Ease of inputting loads was decent. Can store lots of information
Cons
It was a remote connection so that was annoying to get logged on. Couldn't just hop on anywhere. Getting files off of Axon was a pain. Not a lot of streamlining like we were told could happen (payroll, ifta, etc).

Pros
Customizable, easy to use. Endless space. Axon is always making useful updates. We can run Ifta reports, sales tax, any report imaginable . All aspects of trucking can be done in this one system!
Cons
Axon was a little high in price but i did not find anything comparable that covered what we needed precisely.

Tax reports , they have really helped me complete them. Nothing but great people there.

Pros
Very easy to use this software to add or delete drivers from the system, also tracks fuel and mileage for IFTA reports.
Cons
Taxes are not easy to do. It would be nice to have a quicker method. It would be great to do taxes by the quarter
