About Third Light
Chorus from Third Light is a digital asset management system for creating, managing, sharing and publishing digital media assets. Designed specifically to enable team collaboration the software can be hosted locally on a clients own network, or managed by Third Light in the cloud. Upload and categorise media into folders, collections or smart collections and use Metadata to enable simple search and retrieval based on captions, keywords, location, time, date and much more. In addition, Spaces can be customized to mirror teams workflow preferences and adopt desired corporate branding.
Chorus also facilitates collaboration by packaging built-in file edit and conversion tools, while applying version controls, access rules and user tracking. Administrators can monitor how the system and assets are being used via a secure audit trail, while resting assured of automated backups and system updates. Advanced features are introduced across three account versions, with Chorus available in Base, Plus and Data Center editions. With storage capacity from 1TB and latterly unlimited as an outright license, extra features such as workflow management, approval, duplication detection and in-library messaging are added.

The light is the Third Light IMS

Pros
An outstanding feature that invigorates me all way is the Third Light IMS' Digital Asset Management Features where I am able to perform Asset Categorization, Asset Library, Asset Sharing , Search and filter plus Metadata Management. It really makes my work easier in the library especially when it comes to digital asset management. I am able to integrate, manage, share and search for media in a twinkle of an eye.
The fact that their cost is one-time purchase and affordable, makes it cost-effective plus I don't want to forget the online support that I get endlessly upon request.
Cons
I have not seen any cons yet but its a good software for digital media management.

Pros
Easy set up and deployment, great value for money and superb customer support.
It has great functionalities in terms of assets management and media editing.
Cons
Not too many integrations available on the store. It could work even better when connected with other corporate systems

In the four years we have been using the Third Light asset management system, it has been very helpful in both keeping us organized and allowing users to view and access files needed to complete daily tasks. The ease of searching for files allows us to work more efficiently on projects of any size.
We have also been very pleased with the customer service provided to us. Technical issues have been handled professionally and in a timely fashion.
While we still would like to see a few additional features, Third Light has been an incredibly useful addition to our workflow.

I like the updated user interface, the robust search function and the "create derivative" function.
Cons
There were some small issues migrating across keywords and metadata, but this was resolved.
