About Glisser

Glisser is an enterprise Software-as-a-Service solution that engages audiences and gathers valuable data from virtual, hybrid and in-persona events and meetings. It does this by sharing presentation slides to audience smart-devices, and allowing them to participate and feedback electronically. It enables organisations to connect their face-to-face communication efforts into their marketing and management databases.

It incorporates live presentation slide sharing to audience devices, audience response systems, live polling, Twitter feeds and other audience interaction. It can be used by both individual speakers, as well as event ,organisers, to make presentations more engaging and collect valuable data.

The Glisser platform takes regular PowerPoint or Keynote slide decks and pushes them out live to audience mobile devices, slide-by-slide, as they are presented. It then enables members of the audience to interact with the presenter or each other, and collects their feedback. Attendees can also electronically mark-up the slides with notes, and keep them for future reference.

Glisser integrates slide-by-slide ‘like’ voting, live audience questions, Twitter feeds, as well as polling and feedback slides integrated seamlessly within the original deck. There is no need for a second monitor or technical support to switch screen feeds, as Glisser can be operated by a lone presenter from a single device. It’s that simple.

Audience members can access slides via their web browser – a solution that works across all major devices including Windows Phone and BlackBerry, without any download required.

Presenters can set up presentations in a few minutes by uploading their files at the glisser.com website, switching on the social features they want to include, and dragging-and-dropping in audience polls. They then get a unique code to send to their audiences, to use in-app or via their web browser.

Great Interactive Presentation Tool!

Pros

I liked that the presentation was interactive and allowed us to answer questions in real time to compare with the class.

Cons

I would have preferred to be able to download the entire powerpoint set with the questions and answers after the class was over.

Enaxis Consulting recently used Glisser during an IT leadership forum in Houston, and the response from our participants was overwhelmingly positive. As our primary presentation engine, Glisser's simple to use interface made creating the presentation and polling questions easy and quick. We were able to directly upload PDF and PowerPoint slides into the app and could easily move the slides around to work on presentation flow. The polling option was also simple and intuitive to set up. We used polls throughout the forum to engage our participants and get real time input from the group on key discussion points. This shaped the discussion as it allowed our speakers and panelist insight into where the audience stood on different topics. Our participants were very impressed with the tool and many of them expressed interest in using the app in their future events. Finally, the Glisser team was wonderful to work with. They were responsive and worked with the Enaxis team to answer any questions we had. Thank you again! The Glisser app really helped to make our event a huge success.

Cons

Overall the product was great and we really benefited from the polling options. The only issue we faced was the inability to embed videos through power point slides.

The Glisser team have some of the best people and culture when it comes to event tech suppliers, their customer support and service especially on event days it what sets them apart.

Pros

Having used Glisser for over 7 years I can honestly say it's one of my go-to tools for any event!

Glisser helps to take our events, whether in person or online or both, to the next level. We have seen a noticeable improvement in our understanding of how an event went thanks to Glisser.

Pros

I've been a Glisser user for some time now, and it really saved me in the switch to virtual events during COVID-19. It quickly takes events to the next level, especially virtually, to keep the audience engaged, while also helping my team collect important metrics about the event.

Cons

Getting a hang of the interface can take a second, but the customer support team is really wonderful which helped to alleviate the initial onboarding bump!

To keep things simple, we don’t cap your usage of our core platform. We price on a per-planner basis, so you can run as many meetings of any size as you want on that license, and the events stay active for as long as you’re a customer of ours. We don’t allow user log-ins to be shared, to ensure the highest levels of security across the platform, but planners can connect their accounts and co-produce an event portfolio together. We only charge extra for using Glisser Stream, since our costs are directly related to the number of attendee minutes streamed. - Unlimited attendees, unlimited events, unlimited tracks, unlimited sessions - All sessions and events are retained on-demand until the end of your licence - Priced on a per-planner annual licence basis with no usage caps on the platform
