AppSheet

About AppSheet
AppSheet allows anyone to build powerful mobile apps for iOS and Android apps directly from their own data sources. Data can be extracted from multiple sources, including Box, Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, and Smartsheet. Once an app is created, users can then customize the branding and features offered, with a fully interactive emulator to preview the app.
AppSheet offers both a basic editor and an advanced editor for app customizations. The basic editor covers the most basic and important app features and functions, such as the app logo, view controls, app name, security level and sign-in requirements, and offline functionality, as well as allowing users to directly edit spreadsheet data and reorganize spreadsheet structure.
The advanced editor includes tools to adjust editing permissions, add multiple spreadsheets, specify data filters, select data views, add icons and background screens, change themes for fonts and colors, specify workflow rules, define data sync settings, and more. Both editors use a combination of text fields, toggle buttons, and drop-down menus, rather than requiring coding.
AppSheet also offers enterprise-level features including weekly automated usage summary emails by app-level and account-level usage analytics, audit trail creation, app lifecycle management, team collaboration and shared app authoring, pre-deployment checking, and more.
Key benefits of AppSheet
Apps are created automatically from spreadsheets and database - without a single line of code.
Data can be pulled from multiple sources, including Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, OneDrive, Smartsheet, SalesForce, SQL, and more.
Basic and advanced customizations to data, UX, and settings can be made once an app is
created, through text boxes, drop-down menus, and toggle buttons.
Manage governance, security compliance, and other enterprise-level functionality with a corporate plan.
Personal apps and prototypes are free to create and use.

Appsheet enables us to build semantic stellar applications that help us to better improve our development skills and broaden them for more important opportunities.Google makes this experience amazing with Appsheet. I highly recommend it if you're a newbie or an advanced developer seeking for an already-done-for-your solution to jumpstart your projects or clients.
Pros
Appsheet is one of the finest app development solutions we've tested so far. Google makes it completely enthusiastic for non-coders to quickly build and deploy web-based apps.It has a variety of ready-made templates to kickstart a project with no hassles. It's pretty simple to use and the pricing plans are also very very low. This is also a better means to leverage app-building skills for new aspirants. The system supports a few in-house integrations (Google's) which smartly coordinates the overall development experience and saves a ton of stress.I prefer Appsheet to many other no-code App development solutions for its intuitive UI and the narrow and flawless experience it offers. No one loves junk lines of code anyway.
Cons
As per my observations, the platform is supported in many languages---This is already a barrier for other countries that are not of the English language world to cope with it.I believe the world would be better or still, best if digital evolution is spread all around it.

Overall i'm very pleased, it's easy to "make as you go" which i think is important when you're trying to gradually transition and streamline without investing lots of time doing it.
Pros
Appsheet has allowed me to replace my high-cost crm with a lower-cost solution that is also quicker to use and customise.
Cons
Some more design customisation would be great, Appsheet has allowed me to replace my high-cost crm with a lower-cost solution, but it doesn't look as nice. It would also be useful for there to be more of a streamlined navigation with databases and storage in Google Cloud Platform, given they are both google. A free-tier or low cost SQL database would be a great addition to the product.
Reasons for Choosing AppSheet
Smartsheets pricing is opaque and you can't easily test or estimate the cost of add-ons which are required to reach the same level of functionality as appsheet in terms of no code app development.Switched From
SmartsheetReasons for Switching to AppSheet
Appsheet is a better fit for creating no-code apps for daily business use to replace other siloed business apps. Trying to extend or customise a crm to achieve the same degree of flexibility is time consuming and expensive. The other solutions I considered were more appropriate for using as a database (rather than a no-code layer) or for streamlining single business processes through no-code development, rather than developing a full no-code app.- Industry: Pharmaceuticals

We eventually moved on to another software because it was difficult to identify specific issues causing failure in re publishing changes.
Pros
Have good features if the App has to be used to collect data.
Cons
Does not have option to share leads with individual app users. Not very easy to create, help videos were old.

Appsheet has been of limitless use to me and my team over the past year. The ease of setting up accounts on free use terms has made it my go-to candidate testing tool for assessing their ability to quickly understand project concepts and execute them. Thanks to Appsheet, the quality of our tech team recruitments have improved significantly; because it allows us to do a lot more practical live tests.
Pros
The best thing about Appsheet is the app setup process. Simply by creating your spreadsheet data with all the basic designations you want in your app, the system automatically translates it into a functioning app. First time i tried it, I really couldn’t believe it worked. One great feature I love about building with Appsheet is also that you are able to make changes to base data structure right from the editor without needing to go directly into the source spreadsheet.
Cons
I didn’t like that I couldn’t set up a user sign up set up independent of the third party options available for signing up via google, etc.
