What is GSMtasks?

GSMtasks is a fleet and field service management solution with route & task optimization capability for any company that manages a mobile fleet of drivers, couriers & technicians. GSMtasks serves a variety of organizations including maintenance repair, home delivery, bike repair, logistics, and more. The solution provides a full overview of the mobile workforce and helps analyze the daily work of employees with ease.

Managers, assistants, and dispatchers can be informed on where their workers are, as well as keep up-to-date with the status of daily tasks in real-time. A complete data analysis provides information on each driver’s movements, how much time they spend in a certain location, if they are completing their assigned tasks, and how long they’ve been driving that day. GSMtasks’ dashboard helps ensure all the day’s work is completed.

GSMtasks' field service management features include a calendar with drag and drop functionality that ensures optimal planning of the crew’s daily schedules. The solution’s mobile app provides all relevant client information at the worker’s fingertips, including up-to-date task lists, attached documents, client information and signatures, and more. GSMtasks also enables users to assign tasks to other drivers who can best complete a particular unfinished task.

GSMtasks’ route optimization features ensure the fastest driving route for each mobile worker, helping organizations to decrease costs and increase efficiency. The solution takes into account how much time is required to complete a task, where the next task is located, and where the worker will be when all tasks are completed.

GSMtasks has a mobile app for employees (Android & iOS). The app allows employees to receive their daily tasks on their mobile phone even before the workday or during. Tasks with statuses are shown as a list and on a map with their exact location.
Employees can see their tasks as a list on their mobile app with all the relevant client information. The ycan easily accept or decline the task.
Employee tasks are also shown on the map in their exact location with colour coded statuses.
Employees can use whatever navigation app they have installed on their mobile phone to quickly navigate to the destination!

Support is great, integrations team are very easy to work with and the software overall is very robust.

Pros

It's super easy to use from adding tasks to complete them as a driver. With this tool we give our customers complete transparency where they can follow the delivery from our warehouse to the delivery address.

Cons

You cannot brand it as you like unfortunately.

Pros

Software is well known by all our team members, it helped us to develop our structure from 5 vehicles in 2016 to 27 in 2020 and number are still growing. All team of programists on GsmTask side is very responsive and clearly they can address every issue straight away. They are also very keen on taking sugestions of how to make the software more user friendly...

Cons

There is very little downsides, the only thing I can mention is that sometimes the app freezes on the phone and must be reinstalled.

Pick-up and drop-off points are connected. Phone number and comments can be found from task.

Cons

Technical problems from day-to-day - poor quality. It really makes you mad if you are in a hurry, but app just crashes.

Easy to use and very good support

Pros

Ease of Use
Allows multi point routes
Allows drop offs and pick ups to be correctly linked
Proof of delivery is very detailed and flexible
Cheapest by far for the features available.You pay less money and get more features as compared to OptimoRoute , OnFleet or Routific and any other so called "top 10" route panning software.

Cons

It was bit difficult to find the software.

It's simple and easy to use once you get over the learning curve

Cons

It doesn't integrate with our current POS system without investing lots of $ and getting the POS developer on board to link them, which I have not been able to accomplish.
