DealersLink

About DealersLink
The DealersLink marketplace module is a dealer-to-dealer marketplace that provides users with on-demand inventory and sell inventory with no wholesale transaction fees. The solution also offers live trading desk support to help users find the inventory items they require.
AuctionLink is a no fee online vehicle auction that is open to members of DealersLink and provides them with live bidding, reserved bidding and vehicle reporting features. The LiquidationLink module of the solution allows dealers to post aged vehicles below their wholesale book value price and reduce their inventory age time by getting rid of aged inventory.
The Dealership Tools module has scanning (Vehicle Barcode Scanner), inventory booking, inventory management, photo management and vendor consolidation features. The FastBook Pro 5.0 VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) scanner allows users to scan vehicle's VIN, set their retail prices, book vehicles and analyze competitor’s prices.
ExportPro is an inventory management solution from DealersLink that allows users to manage vehicle details such as specifications, pricing, and photos. It automatically creates description, marketing content such as stickers and guides, exports vehicle logs and integrates vehicle videos from YouTube and publishes them on internet. ExportPro is also available for Android and iOS devices.
The analytics module provides various reports such as retail market analytics, velocity reports, inventory health reports, inventory equity reports and stocking reports. This also has a retail pricing tool that analyses and posts a dealer's prices online within a dashboard.

Pros
The people understand, and CARE.
Cons
If i didn't like something, they would fix it for me. They have made changes for me in 24 hour timeframe that Vauto wouldn't even change.

Pros
Looked like it was going to be a good way to source inventory
Cons
The arbitration policy is non-existent. If there's a problem with a vehicle you bought on their platform, it's your problem unless the seller agrees to unwind or pay the outstanding items. Their mediation process is that if there is enough negative feedback, then eventually they will kick a dealer off. Read the contract carefully.

I may have been one of the first dealers in the area to take on Marty and dealerslink when I was UCM for Dave Smith Motors. It helped me immensely to better manage my inventory as well as export to other platforms. It's been exciting to watch them grow over the years, add more features, more dealers, and bring all of these dealers together. Today, sourcing true front line quality inventory has never been more difficult and for those of us dealers who are using dealerslink, I think it's easy to say we would not want to lose the benefits it provides. Not sure how many hundreds of transactions the Gee Automotive Group completes through dealerslink today, but it's substantial and I really like the ease of digitally signing wholesale orders now. Keep up the good work and look forward to future innovations. Jason "Hunter" Hollibaugh, Gee Automotive Group
Pros
Sourcing inventory as well as inventory management and data exporting features
Cons
The mobile app tends to run a little slow when trying to capture a VIN
