About PeopleStrategy

PeopleStrategy is a cloud-based modular enterprise-class Human Capital Management (HCM) software solution covering workforce management, payroll, benefits administration, talent acquisition, performance management, and more.

The Core HR module of PeopleStrategy offers paperless onboarding with E-Verify and I-9 compliance management, configurable workflows, and self-service for employees and managers. All employee data is stored in a single database, with 24/7 access, and users can track employee licenses and certifications. The Workforce Management module enables users to enter and track time through physical time clocks, online clock-in/out, and timesheets. Different wages can be tracked for different jobs or projects, with users able to configure complex calculations and establish routing paths for employee and manager approvals. Employee shifts can be scheduled and posted to an internal dashboard, with employees able to swap shifts subject to approval. PeopleStrategy can also report on employee attendance, coverage levels, and labor costs.

The Payroll module includes pre-processing editing tools designed to reduce errors, and users can manage gross-to-net calculations, automate vendor payments, customize earnings and manage deductions, facilitate adjustments and check reversals, generate standard and custom reports ad hoc, and more. The built-in general ledger has a customizable interface, allowing users to maintain their existing payroll processes. With the Benefits module, benefit plans can be set up for one or multiple companies, eligibility rules and calculations can be configured, multiple coverage tiers can be supported, and employees can view, compare, analyze, and select benefits and coverage, and view benefit summaries after enrollment or plan changes.

PeopleStrategy's Talent Acquisition module enables users to set up a configurable career center to attract candidates, and gives users control over control over job requisitions and postings, resume screening and pre-qualifying, applicant tracking, interviewing and hiring. Background checks are integrated into the system, allowing users to verify education, certifications, credit ratings, and check criminal histories, drugs tests, and more. Candidates can also be screened for tax credits, for both state and federal work opportunity programs.

    Pros

    totally integrated HR administration from applicant attraction, qualifying, on-boarding, payroll, etc.

    Cons

    i can't think of any negatives, except the suite doesn't include multirater reviews (i.e 360's) an integral part of people management.

    Pros

    We didn't use a time clock prior to going with PS so that was helpful and the tracking of PTO with in the system was very much needed.

    Cons

    Random Error's occur with the payroll system at least once a quarter. Employee's hourly rate change even when I NEVER touched that person account, If I do change someone's hourly rate I need to go to 2 places to make sure it reflects on the PTO, and Holiday hours too. System paid an employee a pay cycle after I terminated them. I guess we didn't buy the "onboarding" part of the system because we do NOT hire that often so I still must gather a bunch of info manually form the new employee before I can get them in the system. I think there are TOO MANY report options so I can never find what I want to do. I a-only use the same 3 or 4 reports on a payroll week and that's it. I wish I could use it for more employee management related reports but I don't have time to teach myself.
