SiteDocs' digital forms feature streamlines the form-completion process. Users can sign documents, add photos, and check boxes in one click. With support for voice dictation technology, workers can complete forms by simply speaking to the software. One a form is completed and signed on a smartphone or tablet, it is automatically time stamped and saved to the user's account, accessible to view/edit whenever required, from any browser or device. Forms are grouped by project, date or form type, and all previous versions are retained in SiteDocs.
SiteDocs tracks and manages each worker's certifications and notifies managers when any company certifications are due for renewal. The software is also available to users on iPhone and Android devices via native mobile apps.

3 years ago our company set up and began to implement a Safety Management System (OHMS) so that we could achieve COR certification with WorkSafe BC.
Early on in the process, we realized that we would need a way to provide two-way communication with our workers (most of whom work remotely from our office locations) and also to record safety-related information relevant to our OHMS.
Rather than try to create such a system we looked at several online, cloud-based options that could do the job for us with little or no set-up time and effort involved. Site Docs fit the bill perfectly.
The templates that were immediately available to us for such things as incident reporting and investigation, site inspections, equipment inspections, risk assessments and toolbox talks enabled us to get up and running with our system quickly, efficiently and in a way that was easy for our field staff to understand and adopt into their daily work patterns.
The system worked so well for us that we achieved our goal of COR certification in record time thanks, in no small part, to the ease with which our auditors were able to see our records.
There is no doubt that the adoption of Site Docs into our OHMS has made us a more proactive company with respect to Safety and has helped encourage a much better safety culture among our employees. The numbers don't lie. Our rates of incidents and near misses have dramatically decreased resulting in a safer work environment and lower WCB premiums.

Cons
Some languages are not available when using it, which makes it difficult to understand some things
And the need to translate it outside the program

Good application for field use in construction. Can generate reports for job.

Pros
Very helpful tool for the Construction superintendents/foremen and construction safety managers. Daily safety reports can be produced and published using site docs like JHA (Job Hazard analysis). Fabrication drawings can be marked on field for issues and comments. The reports created in Site docs can be shared with the project team.
Cons
Its has good application in the AEC industry but it cannot handle the entire documentation control process like plangrid and procore. Its not as expensive as procore and plangrid, which can be used for projects smaller in size.

Since adopting SiteDocs into our daily working routine we have developed an OHS Management System...
Since adopting SiteDocs into our daily working routine we have developed an OHS Management System that has been certified as COR-compliant and, most importantly, has improved our overall Health and Safety Stats tremendously. I am convinced that our attention to hazard identification and risk assessment has improved greatly and, as a result, our employees are far more safety conscious when performing their duties.
Pros
We are a relatively small business in terms of both the number of employees and the range of skill sets when it comes to running and managing management systems. When we decided to apply for COR certification we knew we would need help in running and managing the system that is required. In SiteDocs we found a solution that does most of the grunt work for us and lets our employees get on with their work while providing them with all the OHMS tools that they need to help them be safe and the company needs to help provide evidence of compliance.
Cons
The reporting system for recording issues and the need for any corrective/preventive action is very good but the manner in which employees are assigned to deal with those actions could be better if it included an alert that went directly to their mobile phone.

We love the product our tracking of inspections and reporting has improved 100% and when you need to find something that happened on a certain day it is very easy to filter out and find exactly what you were looking for. The other thing the information is very to share.
Pros
I like this product the best because it was easy to roll out to the field. The operators in the field get to have say in the forms we created making these documents theirs. Then they take owner ship.
Cons
When we first got SiteDocs it was being set up trial and error to see what worked best for our company and now all the forms are still visible. I would like it if there was a feature to archive old forms that will never be used again. The same with employees if you make a mistake setting up and employee they are forever there.
