About ClinCapture
ClinCapture is an electronic data capture solution for contract research organizations (CROs) and sponsors. The software helps clinical researchers to build study methodologies, reduce clinical trial costs and streamline the data capture process. Businesses are able to start with a free plan, and then add features with ClinCapture’s tiered pay-as-you-go approach.
ClinCapture has four major features that include Versionoid, WYSIWYG, Translator and Auto-deploy. Versionoid allows users to make mid-study amendments and save various versions of case report forms (CRFs). These reports can be made available automatically to multiple sites, as required by the user. ClinCapture’s translator supports a variety of languages and allows users to enter data in the CRFs in their preferred language. Additionally, the entire ClinCapture interface can be viewed in multiple languages.
ClinCapture has a drag and drop interface that renders forms exactly as designed by the user, eliminating the need for change previews, and ensuring that data is captured in the desired format. ClinCapture’s auto-deploy capabilities mean that studies can be deployed in a validated environment, in minimal time, and without any IT support.
ClinCapture uses Stripe to handle payment processing and helps patients to submit bills for insurance reimbursement. The solution has won American Business Awards, Startups 2016 Award, Utah Innovation Awards and Bio IT Awards. ClinCapture clients include NovaBay, ClearVista, Biocad, Accuray, Reva and PRC Clinical.

Pros
-very good subject matrix which allows the user to capture everything in one shot.
-easy and intuitive platform
-Building studies can be done independently and fast.
-very responsive support
-great training workshop
-little to no downtime
Cons
The basic platform is great however if you require additional features such as ePRO it requires a separate set up fee and additional monthly fees .

ClinCapture enabled us to make the challenging transition from paper CRFs the electronic data capture in a cost-efficient and rapid manner. From there, customer support has helped us manage a study with numerous study sites and dozens of coordinators.
Pros
I appreciated the relatively small learning curve required to start building CRFs in the ClinCapture studio. Additionally, I appreciated the ability to start building CRFs while contracts were being discussed as this enabled me to familiarize myself with the system. Ultimately, this translated into confidence in the system, and enabled me to hit the ground running on our study.
Cons
There have been some bumps in the road in terms of bugs that you would expect from any EDC system; however, these challenges were offset by the rapid and thorough customer support.
