Safelink provides secure virtual data room and collaboration services for organizations such as law firms, accountancy practices, real estate specialists, M&A specialists, and financial services businesses. The cloud-based solution includes encrypted data storage and transmission for the secure sharing of highly confidential documents.
Safelink is a fully featured solution offering granular permissions, full content search, secure messaging, collaboration tools, and page-level document tracking. Document features allow users to drag and drop files and folders into the system, as well as set permissions for who can access, copy, download, print, or send to others. Coordination and collaboration features enable users to create tasks and checklists, leave comments on documents, and publish notices for other users to see.
Organizations can send emails and add attachments directly from the data room using the platform’s closed-circuit email app. Safelink emails contain no file size limits, and cannot be intercepted by third parties. Data rooms are automatically updated with summaries on-screen, including email reports on what’s new in the platform. Safelink enables data rooms and extranet facilities to be custom-branded, in order to match the organization’s image.
Security features include encryption, two-factor authentication, and certified data centers. The solution encrypts user information before it is stored on Safelink’s servers using bank-grade 256-bit encryption. Only people with authorization can access the encryption keys. Optional two-factor authentication can require users to log in using an SMS code or physical key, alongside user IDs and passwords. All data is protected by firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and multi-layer access controls.

Cybercrime is a huge risk and professionals who fail to ensure they conduct their on-line business through a secure environment are foolhardy. Safelink is the only data room used by Collas Crill and has been adopted firm-wide. It offers unbeatable security and provides easy to use functionality. Moreover, Safelink is an invaluable and cost saving litigation support tool. It is no surprise that the judiciary has also chosen to embrace Safelink's technology.

By using Safelink we have found we can often surprise clients with the facilities and tools that we, as a firm, can offer. It enables us to be a market leader. As for our staff, we all know how frustrating it is to be presented with new technology. If it is not easy to use, then fee earners who are permanently working 'against the clock' will simply not embrace anything new. But the Safelink system is very intuitive - no training is needed. That alone makes it a remarkable product.

Safelink is a brilliant product. I have used it for the storage and sharing of sensitive research documents. It is easy to upload documents using the drag and drop feature, and invite other users in. I found some other data room providers were way too expensive for my business, but what I really liked about Safelink is that they are reasonably priced but also there is no massive contract. I pay monthly and can cancel if I no longer need the data room. There are so many features that make my job easier when working on documents with my team, like follow-the-leader screen sharing, dropping pins, annotating and watermarking. I also really like the audit reports that show me which colleagues looked at what. Using Safelink will benefit any business that deals with confidential information, especially as more businesses are moving towards the digital paper-less age. With that progress comes a need for security and control which Safelink provides so well.

Pros
I didn't like or dislike I started using the free trial and as I had started using it I continued to create court bundles
Cons
Its very hard to use not userfriendly at all thus taking much longer to create bundles than other programs. As I was half way through by the time i realised this I continued once i had finished the bundles after 5 hours the program locked me out completeley and wouldn't let me access my work after 24 hours with the customer support (Who did try hard to help)I still could not access my bundles.
