About Teramind
Teramind uses user behavior tracking to automate the detection and prevention of insider threats and data leaks. The software lets you monitor and record the activities of employees, remote users, external contractors both onsite and offsite in real-time.
Teramind’s powerful monitoring features can track virtually all user behavior including apps, websites, emails, instant messages/chats, social media, document & file transfers, printers, networks and more. The software also guards against insider threats by letting administrators configure rules to notify, block, log-out, redirect or lock-out any user depending on his or her behavior. The software provides rule-based risk analysis, remote desktop control, IT forensics, automated alerts and behavior shaping guidance features to prevent data breaches. Teramind also empowers administrators to block access to social media websites, USB drives, unauthorized hardware and other potentially malicious content.
Teramind helps businesses to comply with GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, Sarbanes-Oxley, FISMA, ISO 27001 and NERC regulations and safeguards against any violations. Employee monitoring files can even be exported to concerned officials as evidence in legal suits. The software also helps to improve employee productivity by monitoring computer activity in real-time using template-based scheduling, time tracking, unproductive activity analysis and active vs. idle time calculator features. The software has a keylogging feature that monitors and records individual keystrokes, with the option for administrators to create anti-logging rules.
Teramind uses employee data to create weekly and monthly reports detailing employee productivity hours, free time hours and extra hours spent on a particular project. Visual dashboards can be customized to display widgets and alerts for important daily functions.
Teramind is available for Cloud, On-Premise and Private Cloud (AWS, Azure) deployments. Teramind customers include Orange, Holiday Inn, Azteca, Life Residential and BNP Paribas.

Easy to install. Great feature set. Love the email notifications for specific activities. Does not big down workstations either!
Cons
Price! Expensive! Not sure how to discreetly deploy the agent. Does it have a way to bind with Active Directory?

Pros
1. the dasboard is frendly.
2.-Creation of policies and rules is very easy.
3.-the time worked and the log's is easy to see.
Cons
1.-I did not see if you can take the alert system to an email.
2.-I ask, the log's could be stored in a SIEM (Security Information and Event Management)

We planned to monitor work from home users as we started due to COVID 19 but we used only it for a month and the customer service is the worst part of the product and there is no guidance available for the same. they will just send you the link on how to do it.I am using different software now at the cheaper cost which is fulfilling my need.
Pros
Auto calculation of productivity on the basis of classification of the software was good.
Cons
but in some antivirus, it is detected as the virus and also with that, there are issues in deleting and adding the system deleting the system even you removed the software from the system but cannot re-add it and there is a lot of manual work in order to check the productivity and you cannot see the login log out time properly as the customization of reports is not possible.

Pros
Teramind has been of great help to some of our sub-departments. Tracking and monitoring employee activity has never been easier. With our busy schedules and constant distractions, it is important to keep track of progress and how things are going with every one on the team. Teramind also provides extensive
user behavior analytics, which is another great feature we periodically use.
Cons
