WorkPoint Overview

WorkPoint is a cloud professional service automation solution that offers the following features:

tracking working time and time-off requests

WorkPoint can be used for time tracking even by the most demanding companies. The users are able to use two types of timesheet: table-view (basic) and log-view (detailed). While filling the timesheet in, the user has to select the Client, the Project, the Task, the Billing Rate and the Activity. The set of analytics can be changed, and the user is able to add custom fields, such as the number of requests. In order to provide comprehensive information about the working time and labor contribution, WorkPoint supports tracking time-off requests.

The integrated workflow allows the user to control the time tracking process, obtaining the highest quality of the information added to the system.

WorkPoint can also be used to manage programs and projects with the emphasis on efficiency and performance indicators. The users are able to view both estimated and actual labor contribution, prime cost, revenue (T&M) and profitability values for the project. The users are also able to manage project teams, task structure etc. The resource loading planning system allows planning works using available resources or following the projects of the upper level.

WorkPoint can also be used for client billing, because it allows tracking project expenses and creating invoices. All invoices can include T&M and Fixed bid works, expenses and any other custom lines.

We started to understand our productivity

Pros

More than 100 employees at the ALTHAUS investment consulting group are successfully using WorkPoint to track working time. The company implemented WorkPoint in order to evaluate the efficiency of its employees and the marginality of its projects. User-friendly interface, cloud storage solutions, and incredible functionality allowed implementation of the entire solution for their commercial operation in the shortest possible time.

Cons

There is not enough function to manage employees' competencies. I also needed some features, and they have developed them in latest versions

WorkPoint enabled us to significantly improve performance indicators, particularly personnel utilization. Project profitability has also improved.

Especially the ease of filling out timesheets is worth mentioning, as prior to WorkPoint employees were frustrated by the inconvenience of timesheets used and had to duplicate data input using Excel and other applications.

Pros

Solution has a wide set of features, we don't even use them all, particularly there is a great component to manage invoices. Good-value prices.

Cons

Standard support is provided by email only. Lack of integration with Office365.
