Pros
Onserve was one of the best investments PPVS made. Our turnaround in quotations has increased significantly and modernised the companies management structure.
Cons
The only thing I would flag is when buying the software we initially was told we would have access to a client portal, however when we come to implement this early part of this year we have been quoted a charge for this so we are making do for now but something we definitely want to invest into.
Response from Oneserve

Started well with a one to one weekly implementation meeting, but it soon became apparent the software could not do basic thing like send a purchase order ! The framwork provided by OS to start building the system to our requirements was heavily biased toward housing associations needs not to the subcontractor middleman needs that we have .
To sum up OS id say its ok if you have a very small work force or you dont mind your engineers efficiency going down dramatically or you what to employ lots more back office staff to manage OS then it great, otherwise if you want better performance from both office and engineers and subbies while reducing the need for more staff look elsewhere.
Pros
Apparently the system can use nhf sor codes , it can but its a mess to add codes and the maintenance once imported is massive requiring extra staff to try and manage , OS are next to usless for any help over the phone or by email.
Cons
It was over sold, it under delivers ,its week as a property maintenance program week in comparison to other offerings, hugly complicated to the extend OS staff don't know how to use or implement parts of it. Its clear it build for housing associations or larger non profit companies that have an endless budget to get more staff to manage this mess of a program.

Pros
Ease of use and easy to implement. We were using it within 1 day. I like the expandability which future proofs the solution within the organisation.
Cons
Nothing really I suppose. If I was pushed the only gripe would be the cost of the interface to Xero, our finance solution.

Oneserve is an easy product to learn and use which means staff at all levels are able to learn the basics very quickly. It is versatile and can be adapted to the individual business needs, and at different levels in the business. It is a very good operational tool.
The Standard reporting suite is lacking but information can be obtained through exports from searches or add on reporting package but this comes at additional cost.
The helpdesk are very good and queries answered quickly, however, change requests can sometimes take a while to be implemented.
