LiveConf Overview

LiveConf is a web and video conferencing solution for small to medium-sized organizations who have several videoconferencing systems deployed. The platform connects to virtual meeting rooms using Skype, Lync, H323/SIP devices, Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, Vidyo and LiveConf Room systems. The solution helps companies enhance their internal and external communications and extends to mobiles and tablets.

LiveConf provides organizations with HD video and voice conferencing, and dynamic voice detection. Users can share their desktop and applications with other participants, including any iPad/iPhone app, as well as exchange content such as presentations, spreadsheets, images, word documents, and more. Collaboration features include private and group chat, breakout rooms, whiteboarding and shared screen co-annotation.

LiveConf rooms work for small, medium, and large conferences with up to 200 interactive video or 3000 view-only attendees. Multi-screen video and screen sharing features include a two-screen option that can show active speaker, content or gallery view. Users can keep track of upcoming meetings with reminders and a list of upcoming meetings, as well as integrate their Google or Exchange calendar account. Participants can join LiveConf conferences from desktop, mobile, tablet, telephone, H.323/SIP room systems, and Zoom Rooms.

The additional room connector service extends more traditional H.323/SIP room systems to the cloud, and enables communication via desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. The connector provides dual screen support for video streams and content, and includes computer VoIP audio, call-me, or telephone dial-in features.

The power of Vidyo software suite in the cloud

Reviewed on 2015/10/12
Review Source: Capterra

We use LiveConf in our international organization. We made an important transition from Polycom MCU to a cloud based solution.
We use LiveConf for collaboration meetings over the world from the desktop and meeting rooms, but also to cover official events with webcasting.
Easy to setup, H323 legacy compatible, Firewall traversal, Windows and mobile software clients, HD compatible, Skype compatible, One-click function to organize a meeting from MS Outlook, Video replay platform, webcast, call in, were our main criteria.
We had some issues but the team was immediately available to support.
Video replay platform may adopt a new design to adopt the latest web standards.
Call-in is limited to Switzerland (plan to add more countries)

Response from LiveConf

Thanks for your review, we now have several other countries for audio calls. We'll send you the list.
