About Inmagic Presto

Inmagic Presto is a cloud-based knowledge management system which enables users to consolidate heterogeneous information from a range of sources in a unified repository with a single point of access. The system is designed to reduce the amount of time spent searching for information, and encourage social collaboration to leverage community knowledge.

Presto allows users to integrate multiple external and internal information repositories, such as in-house applications, third party databases, and portals. Disparate types of unstructured and structured content are supported, including websites, FAQs, newsfeeds, documents, images, and more. Presto’s interface is organized and searchable, with browsable directories, guided navigation, full text and metadata search, and a unique meta-tagging structure.

Presto also allows users to create social knowledge networks; virtual communities where individuals can collaborate and share knowledge. Content management, publishing, social management, and search tools are integrated, empowering users to contribute, organize, and publish insights and information, and leverage community expertise. Social tools including tagging, commenting, liking, and rating of content are built in to encourage users to interact with content. Presto also offers role-based access permission management, giving users full control of which individuals and groups can access information at field, record, user, and full content set levels.
