About Safety Evolution

Safety Evolution is an automated safety management system designed for small and medium sized businesses in industries including manufacturing, construction, utilities, transportation, oil & gas, and mining. Safety Evolution can provide a health and safety program framework, with safe work practices & procedures and a safety manual built to meet industry standards, or existing paper-based safety programs can be loaded into the system.

Safety Evolution’s automated employee management system covers the onboarding, orientation, training, and competency management of workers. New workers are sent an email invite including a link to start the onboarding process, and then complete a custom orientation designed to consistently deliver a company-endorsed message. Worker training and competencies can be tracked, with users able to access training information to ensure that worker training is up-to-date. Supervisors can also access training records for reference. Behavior based safety programs can be set up, incorporating planned observations for high risk activities, worker observations, near-miss reporting, and hazard identification (HID) programs.

Safety Evolution automates corrective action workflows for site, equipment, and vehicle inspections, and HID programs. Automated forms are provided for hazard assessments, and identified hazards are automatically tracked and trended, and real-time risk matrices developed and displayed in user dashboards. Real-time analytics give users insight into the risks being documented by workers, with hazards, corrective actions, and behaviors highlighted in graphs within user dashboard.

  • Site, equipment, and vehicle inspections can be managed with automated corrective action workflows, designed to ensure that inspections are carried out on time, reduce downtime and exposure to hazards, and streamline the follow-up and completion verification process.

  • A behavior-based safety program can be implemented by users, with behavior-based worker observation, and the automatic trending of behaviors recognized in near-miss reports.

    Pros

    It was developed with ease of use in mind, and the system is easily to customizable for each company’s needs. The new custom form builder that I a demo for will be extremely useful. Also the support team is excellent

    Cons

    The one feature I would like to see added is the ability to “save filter presets” when viewing columns. For example, when looking at the “Action Items” or “Assets List” I apply filters to the columns. When an Item is opened to be reviewed, then the back page button is clicked afterwards, it removes any filters and take you back to page #1. Having the system save the page # and any filters, would be a huge time saver. We use the system to lookup lots of asset history, so we spend a fair amount of time navigating these pages.

    Simplest tool for Safety and Asset Management professional

    Pros

    Having a platform that fulfills all elements of Safety did it for me. It is user-friendly with a timely support system when you need it. Onboarding was seamless and tailored to the needs of my company.

    Cons

    Would like to see approval and sign-off done remotely by users in the future.

    Incident reporting is a great feature as its detailed.

    that alot of the documents uploaded have to go through the SE team. Might be handy if a business can have admin access too as things may change with the business every once and awhile.

    We have been able to streamline our daily safety, equipment maintenance which was one of our main objectives.
    Right from initial building of our program to ongoing additions or upgrades they have been fantastic.

    Pros

    What I really loved about the software is having everything available and trackable. My employees do daily sheets on their Cell phones and it uploads to data base. It has made our Secor audit so much easier. Our vehicle and equipment maintenance program is by far better now.

    Cons

    Not much to say on least like about software. Generic FLHA has some things that do not pertain to our job scopes.

    Pros

    The development of this software has been the most enjoyed feature. Either the team is already developed/devloping what I am looking for or they are willing to look into it and follow through. As our needs and uses grow so has the software.

    Looking for a bit more customization in the hands of administrators and looking for even more ease of use in the field on mobile apps
